Faulk and Sapp are just straight haters.

Romo said all the right things.

Yeah, Faulk has been on a tear seems like. Just when I am starting to like NFLN, seems like they are trying to go ESPN way? Jamie, Faulk and Sapp all pretty much trying to shoot down anything cowboys seems like.

But at least unlike ESPN, they are some defenders or even keeled guys like Mooch or Rich Eisen etc. Heck even Rod Woodson is more even keeled than Faulk.

Last but not least, I think Irvin got so ambushed, that he failed to mention, what Romo said after he said "I don't know yet what it takes to win SB, since I didn't win one yet. But seems like what we are doing right now is the right approach. We are not pointing fingers" so on so forth.

I am dissappointed in Faulk mostly though. Sapp barely has anything intelligent to add most often anyway, Cowboys or other teams. Faulk is a very good X and Os guy. Now his opinions are sometimes iffy, but he is spot on when he talks X and Os though.

Irvin was indeed ambushed, but he handled it with a smile and he mentioned that Romo said each player is looking at himself and asking what can I do better. Irvin handled it well. Mooch was more open-minded than Sapp and Faulk. I don't know what Romo has done to these guys, but it is personal (and illogical).

Wow, I've never seen something so minute get blown so far out of proportion before. ...and we thought ESPN was bad. That was down right ignorant.

Faulk says he likes Romo. Well Faulk, for someone that likes Romo, you were laying the hate on extremely thick. Maybe you just hate the Cowboys. Probably because Ware body-slammed you.

Faulk doesnt like romo because romo wouldnt sit down and do an interview with him the week of the ravens game.

Plain and simple. Go back and watch the behind the scenes video of faulk and sanders. Faulk was so mad, so dont ever expect faulk to be complimentary of romo in any way.

I heard about it but never saw it. Makes sense now, since it sure seems personal issue with Faulk. Sapp, has been somewhat skeptical of Cowboys and like I said, he barely makes sense most of the time, other than making faces.:)

That was truly unbelievable.

Romo tries to give a humble answer and here comes the typical mountain out of a mole hill remarks.

I can't believe what I just watched and to me what Faulk and Sapp just did is everything that is wrong with the media put on display.

The tail end of that first clip says it all. Marshall actually agrees with Tony's statement. Nobody knows what it takes to win a Super Bowl until they've done it. But he's just surprised that he didn't lie to the camera. I actually don't think he's surprised. He just doesn't like the guy and would have turned whatever he said into a negative.

If he would have said, "We need to do X, Y, and Z to win a Super Bowl," Marshall would have said, "How does he know, he's never even won a playoff game?"

Romo would have got killed either way. If he said he knows what it takes to win a Super Bowl. Sapp and Faulk would have said that was the wrong thing to say and what does Romo know about winning a SB when he hasn't won a playoff game. I am so sick of the hatred Romo receives. It has gotten to the point where he just has to win football games to shut these morons up.

Can always count on two things:

1. The Media will always talk about us.
2. Cowboy fans will get butthurt over it.

3. Someone will make a condescending remark about Cowboy's fans not appreciating slanted, negative remarks made simply to serve an agenda.

How many people do you know that absolutely hate the Bengals? How about the Rams? I'm not sure even Steelers or Cardinals fans hate the Bengals or the Rams.

Now how many people do you know HATE the Cowboys? I know a lot of them. Just mentioning the Cowboys invokes a strong emotional response. It crosses their face and you can see their mind searching for the first thing to criticize. The Cowboys are a polarizing team, obviously.

Unfortunately, many sports journalists/commentators allow those sorts of feelings to come across on paper and on television. Most of them don't. Most of them are professionals that throw that sort of childish reaction out the window. But there are enough that lack the professionalism to prevent those emotional reactions from coming out. And that's disappointing.

All of which falls into what I said...

They like to talk about us. And we will get butthurt.

Using the term "butthurt" implies there's something wrong with criticizing the media when they allow their emotion to show through. In that sense, what you said is very much wrong.

Getting butthurt implies there is hurt feelings.

Now if you excuse me, I'm trying to watch God (Peyton) versus I Just Win (Vince)....

I'm surprised the world hasn't imploded yet. I suppose for world implosion, it would take Tebow versus Buehler. This is probably just a half step below that.

It's more annoying to me then anything that they just can't be impartial. They are after all analysts and they played the game so they should know how the media can be and try not to be that way. I understand many of the players that have played and still play today grow up hating the cowboys but why not grow up and be adults and call things like they are. I know that what they say doesn't change how teams play on sundays but if they expect fans to watch the pregame stuff maybe they should try and be unbiased. Just my 2 cents worth.
