Thanks man! I appreciate the input and compliments. Don't worry about the discs and the goalline sequence... I probably would have only used 1 play from that series of downs.

DangerDoom:
There's no point in putting it on YouTube because:
1) It turns the quality to crap
2) they will just delete it as soon as they find it
3) you run the risk of having your youtube account banned
Hmm, point taken.

For some reason, my favorite part was that Nate Jones hit on the Detriot WR. That was vicious.
Man, I can't wait for the season to start. 2007 is our year!

Thanks for the video, brah.

Yep, I tried to make it as good of quality as I could without having an outrageous filesize. Everyone should be able to convert this and put it on DVD format without seeing too much blockiness/artifacting on their TV.

I did do quite a bit of color correction to get the video footage to look bright and vivid on computer monitors... so it may look a little off on the TV.

So what did you use for the color correction, I noticed it was very bright and had a nice look to it, instead of the flat washed out colors I always have!!!!

again man, I watched it again, great work. My favorite play of the year was aaron glenns interception. It is kind of a forgotten play but man, glenn was like 3 feet off the ground with his whole body parallel and he reaches out and snags that pass on a slant route. I am glad you included it in there. Doesnt get better than that.

dude, that would be so awesome, as downloading divx would mess up my computer, make everything slow

Divx doesn't make your computer slow. In fact, it has absolutely nothing to do with how fast or slow your PC runs..

I use the Secondary Color Corrector in Vegas (the 2nd Color Corrector in the VideoFX list). I pretty much just eyeball it and adjust the Saturation, Gamma, Gain, etc till a get the look that I want. Everyone's monitor settings are a little different but it still gives the footage a lot more vivid colors and brightness than what I get straight from the DVD recording.
For this video, I went ahead and color corrected for each game and then saved a preset for each game so I could just select the preset depending on what game the clip was from.... saves a lot of time over doing each clip individually.

Yeah, I knew I had to get the Glenn INT in there when I saw you talking about it in your Top 9 Video thread. :)

I was thinking about making a video called... "The Story of Tony Romo"

I'm debating on whether I want to do it or not but I've already got a lot of ideas in my head for it.

Not so sure I'll do a full blown Offense video.

sounds great, let me know if you do that because I already cut out every td he threw, including the preseason and some other big plays. I have them sitting in a folder on my external. I would be happy to send it to ya.

Curious, how do you guys go about this video making process? I'm assuming a tv tuner card is a necessity (or at the least, an off the shelf DVR), but what software do you use? I've mucked around with Adobe Premiere and I know how to rip DVDs, but that's about it.

excellent timing and great use of special effects and speed changes...

What version of vegas were you using? I've got vegas video 4.0 but I don't think it could do some of the things you did...or maybe I just don't know how to do it...

umm stupid question but why is the picture upside down, i keep playing and the whole this is upside down?? anyone?

edited: forget it i just needed to update the divx codec thanks

is there a particular reason you want it in mpeg? Would wmv be good also, because the file size would be smaller.

wmv is good too

downloading anything on my computer shoots the junk to smithereens, but I'm able to play mpeg and wmv files
