Of course you would say that. Shocking!!!!

Shhh...you want her to find out the truth?

Keep it up and I'll contact your wife/girlfriend/whatever and tell 'em that I'm your secret lover.

Just because valentines day is only a day away.

My "make believe" wife wants to know if that's the flower Narcissus. I told her that I draw the line when it comes to knowledge and flowers. So you have to tell her.

Wait, pal. You owe me more than that. I didn't take that much time to invest in my response to you for nothing. You can do better than that.
Sometimes the simplest explanation is the right one.

No need to add superfluous layers of complexity.

The problem, as I see it, and maybe you could enlighten me as to how this could be reconciled, is that if there is an assumption that there are absolutes, how does one know what these absolutes are in a real world, real time environment?

And I'm being sincere on this. I'm honestly curious as to your thought on this.

Please be more specific. Because absolutes can apply to varying fields of science, e.g. mathematics (constants in values, always true algebraically, without variables), physics (measured relative to vacuum, according to standardized measures, ), or grammar (independent of sentence syntax, without direct object) or even philosophically (ultimate reality or unquestionable rule).

In the syntax I used for explaining logic, I said: "In order to have rational dialogue, we must assume that there are absolute truths".

Is this what you refer to? If so, we should take it off-line and pm each other on this topic because I'm about to get way philsophical up in this hizzy.

Wade was probably still celebrating our playoff win over Philly. :lmao2:

Yeah, you got your butt handed to you by myself and choclate lab the last time we crossed paths. I doubt you would recognize that anyway. I'm also sure you'll throw a cute smiley of you "laughing" in my direction as well.

Yep, you really showed me, didn't you?

I'm growing tired of you because you're really boring me. You try to come off as being intelligent but when challenged, you then succumb to the application of the 'K.I.S.S.' principle and look foolish in doing so. You extrapolate only a few words in my response(s) and then try to target those same pockets full of wisdom by turning the tables against me to get ahead. Yet, when the same tactic is applied to you and your posts, you get all defensive and use sarcasm to defend your point(s).

Weak, really weak.

I'd say that you're not worth my time but that would be a lie. The truth is that I love to target the weak who believe that it makes sense to bring a knife to a gun fight.

I'm wired that way.

You not only broke down the video, but you told us what he was thinking and that he would not do the actual YMCA dance as if you live in his head.

You tried to come to his defense and say he was stuck in bad situation and then made the best of it by directing people on the dance so he wouldn't bring the party down.
Broke down ??? :lmao2:

Someone posted a video, others commented on it.

I watched the video, and gave my opinion of what I saw. Pretty simple.

I wasn't pretending to know what he was thinking, I was just commenting on what I saw on the video.

It was my opinion. Somehow, for whatever reason, you took my comments too seriously.

I know I didn't take it that seriously.

You read too much into it.

Previous posts in the thread were ranking on him, and laughing at him for doing the YMCA, and all I said was that he was not doing the YMCA.

That's about the depth of it.

This has already gone on longer than I meant for it to.

Goodbye.

Well that's just hurtful. Now I'm sad.:(

Why can't you just let me hate Wade Phillips in peace? Based on how this team has underperformed the last three seasons (2007 - Giants, 2008 - Philly, 2009 - Minny), I think that I'm a wee-bit entitled. Basically, I'm a spoiled Cowboys fan (just like many here that grew up watching them in the 70s). And one playoff victory in three seasons is totally unacceptable. How could we as fans acquiesce to these lowered expectations? When was it okay for us to be only happy with the regular season record and ignore the playoff one? Granted there's been a few changes over Wade's three seasons with personnel but essentially, he's had a Super Bowl caliber team during his tenure - and he's not getting these guys motivated enough to take advantage of it. It's like they're talking a good game but when it comes to production, the heart's simply not there.

The window for us to get to the promise land is closing a lttle bit more with each passing season.

And that's just tragic.:(
