Why is Wade Phillips lying to us?

Wade Phillips must think no one has a TIVO/DVR and goes back and re-watches the game...

I don't care if it's the kicker or the holder. Get it fixed ASAP! If not then make a change to one of those components.
But for the love of God don't tell me you are sure the guy 'hit the laces' and I go back and check the replay and watch the kicker not come close to hitting the laces.
Frustrating.
DC, buddy I am sick of it too;
think about this;
1. After tampa bay runs all over our blitz defense wade says its on me, i didnt run the blitz packages enough in training camp because i didnt want to get our offensive players hurt on blitzes, *bull corn, you have practice players, backups, put them in padding and let the players blitz till they have the packages down
2. Then wade had to fix the pass defense after 1st giant game, because he had to concentrate on run blitzes
3. Then, wasnt it jerry jones that pushed for ogletree on offense, not wade?
4. Then, wasnt it jerry jones that told wade to sit patrick crayton down and coach joe d said we need another punt returner, so we got rossum?
5. Now the kicker situation, we could have had a chance at bryant the kicker from ufl or whatever league that is; but like larry brown said one thing he doesnt like about wade, he tries to cover up defincienies on the team by having other areas play better, but wade doesnt fix the problem till we lose a game or two and jerry jones forces him to do something like the firing of bruce read after the season and the firing of bryan stewart defensive coordinator last year.
and people want to call this person a great coach because of his winning percentage september to november
but they forget this remark below and try to hide it under the rug like wade does
From September through November, Phillips has been an excellent coach, leading Dallas to a 27-8 record in his three seasons. That’s a 77.1 winning percentage, which is Hall of Fame stuff.
The problem, as it always has been with Phillips, is that December and January escape him as if he were trying to grab a cold wind with his hands. Tack on the loss to the Giants and Phillips is now 3-7 in December and January since inheriting a supremely talented team from Bill Parcells in 2007. That includes a playoff loss to the Giants two seasons ago and four consecutive road losses.
That trend was the same in Phillips’ previous head-coaching stops in Denver (two years) and Buffalo (three). At those two places, Phillips was a combined 35-25 before December, 10-12 afterward. That includes two previous playoff losses in Buffalo, most notably the Music City Miracle loss when Phillips inexplicably started backup quarterback Rob Johnson(notes) instead of Doug Flutie.
It’s as if Phillips is like a great starting pitcher in the closing years of a career, when six or seven innings is as much as he can muster before turning the game over to the pen. Sadly, you can’t call in Mike Shanahan or Bill Cowher the way the Yankees used to have Mariano Rivera finish up for Roger Clemens.
Phillips is what he is, an amiable man who happens to be the classic coaching tweener. He’s a great defensive coordinator, so good that it shouldn’t be that big a step to successful head coach. And for the most part, Phillips is a good head coach. At least for 10 months a year.
