In 2024 along with his 16.5 sacks he had 21 TFL's ; 37 solo & 43 asst (80) tackles & 3 forced fumbles in 12 games. He also had 1 PD (not sure what that is - maybe pass defensed)

His 4 year career stats are: 47 games; 30 sacks; 113 solo; 102 asst; 215 comb tackles; 8 forced fumbles & 4 PD.

PD's are pass deflections, I believe, although my spell check didn't like that word. He's going to be a good one!

He plays the run well, technique-wise.

But at his size (6’2, 247) that might be more difficult against giant OLinemen.

But he’s a smart player and knows how to play the run.

He's the real deal..........good run defender. His game reminds me of Greg Ellis. Not sure about the ALL-PRO level but you are getting a consistent starting player who will show up every Sunday.

He looks like Demarcus Ware how he can get low and run past offensive tackles on his way to the QB, he looks like he could put on another 10 lbs of muscle and it wouldn't hurt his speed.

If he really is this smart, great technique, can't miss talent folks are describing, he wouldn't have. Teams saw some kind of limitation to keep him from being considered a blue chipper. More to be seen at the pro level which is a big step up.

I think that's why we'll see Kneeland at end on early downs or shorter-yardage situations, and possibly Turner on the other end depending on how we play Micah. I think we want Eze fresh for rushing the passer, so there's less reason to wear him down. Ultimately, you want players out there who can do both because teams don't always run on first down or in short-yardage situations, but if you don't have that, you have to pick your battles. No player can play every snaps, so the best time to rest Parsons and Eze is when a run is likely.

So who gets cut? We have a glut of DEs now. They aint all making the team, let alone playing.

I think Williams gets cut. we don't know how well he'll return from injury and he wasn't that great to start with. I think Wheat has been a placeholder the last couple of years because of injury or just not having anyone better.

I think we're going to keep Kneeland, Turner, Parsons, Fowler and Eze at end. I think Turner kind of gets slept on, but he was a specific early target of this staff, especially once we lost Golston. Now, we seem to be saying a lot this year, hey, he's a former first-round pick so he's got to be worth something, but I also think this staff has specific roles in mind for these players (Turner, Murray, Elam) where they think they can maximize their skills. Whether that proves true, we'll find out.

I think Eze will start out primarily as a pass rusher rotating with Parsons and Fowler. He'll have to prove himself as more than that to earn more playing time. (Hmmm ... a Dallas rookie actually having to earn playing time, imagine that.)

Id keep Williams just to replace Goodwin on STs. At least Williams offers something positional wise.

EZ is a weird type of player, cause he's not a speed rusher and he's not a power rusher. He's built like a speed rusher, but doesn't have that level of juice. He's as strong as you'll see for a 250 lb end (outside of Khalil Mack), but when he's bull rushing tackles 60 lbs bigger than him, there's a limit to what he can do.

His superpowers are his freakishly long arms (at 6'2", he has the wingspan of a 6'10" man) and his bend (best 3-cone time among DEs this year), plus he's got good upper body strength. And his game is kind of based around chaining those. He's always dipping and ripping and trying to work himself free, and he gets free pretty often.

I think he fell to the 2nd because NFL coaches saw him as an "effort" rusher, and were concerned about how his game would translate against more athletic blockers. I think he's plenty athletic enough to beat NFL tackles, but his physical gifts are just distributed oddly.

I could see him being a DLaw type of player. Punching way above his weight in run defense, and getting pressures/sacks more late in the rep and on second moves rather than just blowing around the corner in 2 seconds. I don't think he's a 10 sack guy, but he's a 2nd rounder, so the Cowboys aren't expecting him to be one. He's the second banana you want alongside Parsons.

I like Ezeiruaku, Turner and Kneeland against the run. Kneeland will have a year of development, so that should help a tad. The one thing Turner can do is play the run decently. Id like to see Ezeiruaku add 15 lbs of peanut butter weight. If he does that, he'll be a solid run defender.
