Vikings game is supremely important

I don't think this game has any more weight to it than our previous non-divisional games. All wins seem to be followed by a loss and all losses seem to be followed by a win. I suspect they win against the Vikings but I am not excited about this march to 7-9 or 8-8. I desperately want a team and coach that philosophically wants to take it to the other team vs. taking what they give us. When that happens my energy for this team will return. I'm quite tired of this version of the Cowboys and that applies to any coaches and players that have been here more than 2-3 years or that seem passive in the face of mediocrity. The thought of a meaningful game makes me laugh but I agree with the notion of a telling game for sure.

I would be stunned if we loss, if we dont blow them out, it is a bad sign. imo the giant game is the most important game, if we can't beat them, I don't see how we win the division.

So would a two TD win be a disappointment to you?

I think we win, but it will be a struggle. The game plan will once again be the Texas 3 step and we win by no more than 3 points. Garrett will let the Vikings stay in the game like he does every team.

I'll answer for him. Depends on the situation I bet.

If we are up by 3 or 4 TDs and they get a little closer during junk time I'm sure he'd be fine with that.

But if we are up only be a TD, they are driving for the tie as time runs out, but we get a pick six off a tipped ball, then THAT situation would have been much too tight for him.

That isn't true. They just don't have the QB to take advantage of anything else, consistently.

What do they have? An over the hill Greg Jennings. Kyle Rudolph pfffffft. Seriously, what else do they have?

I think the most important games are the ones against the NFC east opponents. Honestly the division is so bad right now that there are realistic scenarios you can concoct where the Cowboys go 7-9 and win the division.

The Cowboys better get over last weeks loss and be ready to play Sunday because the Vikings season is pretty much in the toilet so they can throw caution to the wind.

I agree with this...the Rams damn near beat the Seahawks.

At the same time, if the Vikings come down and get the hell beat out of them, it will just be, "well, they are a bad team", which, I guess would be true. But, something is fundamentally wrong with this team, be it players, injuries, coaching...the devil? They better get their stuff together because the Vikings get paid also.

Since the Vikings are bad, I want Romo to just throw to Bryant on every play. Just to practice it.

I don't care if he's 11-covered. Just throw it to Bryant.

We beat the crappy teams and lose to the better teams.

We have 3 more games against quality opponents. Chalk those up as L's. But we also have our own division and some other lamo teams. We can easily finish 9-7 if we take care of bidness.

Never...you can if you want to.

Who cares if they're one and done in the playoffs?

I agree, but I'm getting more down with every mediocre showing.

I will always want to believe, but there is a shadow creepy up my football loving soul-

And it's name is Garrett.

Prove me wrong, Red! Beat down that shadow of despair!

Please?

They have 53 players who can easily upset this team. Haven't we learned not to underestimate anyone? Are we still that delusional to think that we can just steamroll teams? THE 2013 DALLAS COWBOYS ARE NOT THAT GOOD!

Please do.

Someone needs to do something constructive with this pit in my stomach.
