It's his attitude. He retires, then unretires, retires again, then decides to play again. He's addicted to the attention. The thing that pushed me over the edge and made me dislike Favre was when he scheduled a press conference outside of his house. When the reporters got there he acted like he had no idea what they were doing there. YOU CALLED THEM, BRETT!!!Hostile;3049741 said:I simply do not understand (and don't want to) how football fans cannot like Brett Favre. He's a joy to watch play the game.

fake outrage. What's really hard to understand is how many people don't have a remote control to turn the channel when something upsets them. well allegedly upsets them.Hostile;3049741 said:I simply do not understand (and don't want to) how football fans cannot like Brett Favre. It's not fake outrage. He's just an attention *****.jimmy40;3050011 said:fake outrage. What's really hard to understand is how many people don't have a remote control to turn the channel when something upsets them. well allegedly upsets them.
by doing what? going on Larry King? 60 minutes? calling ESPN over to his house? freaking fake outrage, period.Cover 2;3050013 said:It's not fake outrage. He's just an attention *****.
I think he is overhyped like you said the media treats him like he can do no wrong. This guy leads the world in interceptions and to me has cost his team more in big games than he has won. I can think of at least 4 games where he cost his team in a playoff games. The 6 interception game against the Rams in 02 div. playoffs, 4 interceptions in 05 wild game against the Vikings, interception in OT in 07 NFC champ. game that led to game winning FG for Giants, and the floater interception against Philly in 04 div. playoffs. I can't put Favre as one of the best ever with performances like that in big games.Biggems;3049751 said:Hos I have always hated Favre....he acted like a cocky punk in the early to mid 90s. I couldnt stand it. I hate the Packers and he was a Packer. I hate how the media treats him like a God and has to force every little aspect of his daily routine down our throats. I will be so glad when he retires.

For me anyway that is why I dislike him.
