I'm not happy about this at all. But I'd be more upset if it was the coach who was doing it. And I believe there are some coaches around the league with their own tv shows. Vinny probably does have some extra time during the season compared to the offseason. Still, it seems silly to spend it on the radio.

If you think Vinny has time to be doing a radio station during the "season" as compared to the "off season" then you are fooling yourself. There is no "offseason" for nfl management. Not for the good ones anyway

It doesn't take up a whole lot of time, saying "Yes, Mr. Snyder; whatever you want, Mr. Snyder"...

I would think there's a difference between filming/airing a half-hour show, as many coaches do indeed do, and having a high-flying executive on the air four hours a week. :lmao:

Not trying to rub it in. Really not. This story just sounds so funny.

Yeah, four hours seems ridiculous.

So those 8 scouts for you and cincy are really doing a good job huh, point is this Cerrato does not need to be hosting his own radio show. I am suprised LiL Danny let him out, he must have got tired of beating Vinny at racketball.... :lmao2:

Oh that was witty. Good work.

So do you always resort to failed humor when you get owned for talking out your ***?

No but the fact still stands Washington has one of the smallest scouting departments in the league. As well as one of the most F-up front offices in the league..........ASK BOBBY MITCHELL ABOUT THAT.......OR LOUIS RIDDICK. All of us here in the DC/MD/VA know that this is a failed attempt at trying to spin bad press and other wrong doings of Synder.

If you think I am pulling this out of my ***, meet me in South East DC and I can take you to several barbershops and supermarkets were Commanders fans will express the same thoughts I have about Vinny

Actually, the guy they brought in to replace Riddick is very highly regarded. Do you even know who they brought in? Without Googling.

YUP I sure do, I would bet a whole lot, that I know your teams players, and front office ALOT better then you do Sonny. No matter if I post his name or not you can still say I looked it up. The point is Cowboy, giants, Ravens and even skins fans in this area consider you front office a joke. I mean what other team would give up the amount of high draft picks you guys have for guys like Brandon LLoyd(all that money, now he is lighting it up with the bears), Archuleta and Duckett ( a pick given up to sit the bench.

Cerruto was put on the station to refute all the negativity. Also Campbell(Took Riddicks place) is nothing but a yes man to Cerruto. Oh and you dont just have to go to SE DC, you can go to to other parts of DC as well.

Whatever dude. Yep, Arch, Lloyd and Duckett were huge mistakes...that's not exactly news. However, you keep bringing those three up, but ignoring the many successes they've had in FA. And when was the last time the Skins had a 1st round bust, like, say, Bobby Carpenter? You know what? Don't bother replying, I don't care what you have to say.

Again, wrong. It was Morocco Brown:

Morocco Brown, a former Commanders front office person in the pre-Marty years, will return as Director of Pro Personnel. Brown takes over for Louis Riddick, who’s contract was not renewed. Brown will work directly under Executive VP of Football Operations Vinny Cerrato and Director of Pro Personnel Scott Campbell.

You know nothing. I am done with you. You are just like 90% of the DC area Cowboys fans. You think you know everything, when in actuality, you don't know ****.

Which sounds an awful lot like most Commanders fans as well.

I was curious about your 1st rounder bust question. Exactly what First rounder have you guys had in the last handful of years that has went on to do anything above being average? I ask this because as a guy whose not a fan of the Commanders I honestly don't recall who all you've drafted in the first round under Dan Snyder so i could easily have missed a good player in there.

1999: Bailey
2000: Samules and Arrington
2001: 50/50 Rod Gardner: bust
2002: Ramsey: bust (we can debate the Spurrier influence, but it's easier to say bust and move on)
2003: No Pick
2004: Taylor
2005: Rogers and Campbell
2006: No Pick
2007: Landry

So they drafted a couple very good players (I hate the word great): Samules, Bailey, Taylor
Some still-developing players with potential: Campbell, Rogers and Landry
And the busts: Gardner and Ramsey

WOW is that all you can pull is Bobby Carp........WOW how many picks did u guys give up for Shuler, Ramsey, Jason Campbell, were is that Aikman killer Lavar at these days. We are talking about FREE AGENTS........KEEP UP AND TRY NOT TO CHANGE NATURE OF TOPIC. I can go on and on

Also Campbell is Vinny's right hand man

or this

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2008/05/louis_riddick_is_gone.html?nav=rss_blog

Funny Vinny and Danny did not have the balls to fire Riddick so the Promoted Campbell ahead of Riddick and had him do the firing..........talk about back handed

Brown works for Vinny and Campbell get it.

LOL u dont want it with my old man. I eat up and spit out Commander fans for fun in this DC/MD/VA area

Hey Sonny its 12.33 here in DC, and i am listening to Zorn press conference.............so is it safe to say that the 2nd round pick for Jason Taylor might have been a mistake

Wasn't Bailey, Samuels and Arrington taken before Danny bought the team or had control of the team?

I was thinking they did the Samuels/Arrington draft while he was still buying the team and he did not have a say in that draft.

Snyder was bought the team in 1999.

1.)Champ Bailey-7th, 1st Rd. 1999
2.)Lavar Arrington-2nd, 1st Rd. 2000
3.)Chris Samuels- 3rd, 1st Rd. 2000

I know he had control of the team in 1999. You might be right -- he may not have had control of the draft that year. But he was definitely in control of the 2000 draft.

They actually had 3 first round picks that year, and traded two of them to move up and take Samules.
