Vintage radio shows

[Reverend Conehead]

This show, The Hall of Fantasy, is before my time. It was recorded in the 40s and 50s. I caught this exact episode in the 80s when I was living in Hawaii. Radio didn't have moving pictures, of course, so it had to rely on sound and your imagination. I've found all these episodes on Youtube, and so I listen to them when I'm doing my housework.

[Hardline]

I've listened to the original radio broadcast episode of War of the Worlds as read by Orson Wells.

Sometimes I would go over and help my wife's grandfather moving around stuff then sometimes we felt like playing Cards. He had CDs of some classic radio shows. I only remember the Shadow a tad.

Who knows what lurks in the hearts of men
The Shadow knows....
