What could of been. Can you imagine the terror these two would of done to the NFL??? Thanks for another fine job as GM, Jerry:facepalm: He brought in Miller the NFL would be trembling with he and Micah together every week. OH,,, by the way.... Sometimes I think Jerry is really a true green blooded Eagle fan disguised as a Cowboy GM. I'd give anything for another SB per Jerry Jones. Anything but spend money and bring in real talent!! Eagle boy!!
with those two, I would switch to a 3-4 and we could have probably pulled it off. micah on one side, miller on the other, with Cox and LVE in the middle...bohanna and Hill at nose, Gallimore, Lawrence, Odi, Armstrong as DEs...it could have worked.

It's sad that so many of us are somehow compelled to act like spoiled children, rather than grown up adults. Keep hitting your heads against a wall, if it makes you feel better. I much prefer to look to the season ahead and pull for my team rather than to sit around and pout over not getting things that just weren't going to happen. Grow up and try supporting your team, rather than insisting upon being hapless critics. It's really not a good look.

Miller wanted more money than they were willing to dedicate to the D. Same goes for Wagner.

Bills had a talented roster last year and came up just short in the championship game.
Cowboys had a talented roster last year and underachieved and lost in the wild card game:
One organization decided to get the pieces that could put them over the top while the other shed talent and didn’t bring in pieces to get over the hump.

We have Jerry Jones, we are screwed.

Von looked great against an awful OL...I think Sam will be a force on D after a slow start, and just having Micah out there will make the rest of our D even better. Oh if only I had this confidence about our offense.

Nice analysis re our O. Same feeling for me, especially with our O line, and if Dak goes down, on to 2023 and another year added to the SB drought.

Lucky to have lived through the Landry , and Jimmy J years so cherish the feeling of being there year after year for the chase to the SB and then actually winning several.

was the other thread not enough:facepalm::angry::thumbdown:

it was ONE Game. i doubt VM will be at the top in sacks this year.,.age, 17 games and if hes counted on or still upright by the playoffs at 20mil per..no sorry theres reason the FO offered less, have refused anow hes not here get past it and BTW it was game one against an emotionally charged match against his old team. we could not FIT another contract like that on this team for an older player. at DE see Tank .rams, didn't broncos didn't, but we should have? let's see how this plays out over 17 game before the overreactions on not having him on our team. Calm down..

:) If I'm just dreaming, then why not Bob Lilly, Randy White, 'Too Tall,' Harvey Martin, and throw in Chuck Howley...:starspin:

With Miller's injury history, I wouldn't have given him the contract the Bills did. Remember how many of you guys want/wanted to cut Tyron because he misses a game or two every year.
I’d be thrilled if Tyron just missed a game or two a year. That guys body has been broken For a few years now.

Some of ya'll play too much Madden.

It is warping your brains. Yes, i wanted Von Miller. Not at the money that he signed for.

I love what we did are DE. Sam Williams is a helluva consolation prize.

Holding onto our young stud players is also a bonus.

a force? Define force? Miller is a force every game.
He has put himself in good situations with his last two teams, meaning that he doesn't have to play at the same level he did when younge. If no Donald on the Rams last year, Miller is more than a JAG but not what he once was. He was very smart to sign with Buffalo, was a no brainer

He is still a top pass rusher and his leadership is incredible. He brings the IT factor.

Not dumb at all. I am sure Vonn was already set for life. Texas has no state income tax so there is approximately 11% difference right there . If Miller wanted to be here he would have signed, but he wanted to win.. You go to the Cowboys to get paid not win championships. Some of you need to come to grips with that inconvenient fact.

That no state income tax does not apply when they play in a state that has income taxes. Many states now consider that game played as working in that state. And is considered an entertainment tax as well. So they may or may Not be able to file a return to recoup that or part of it.

For Stephen's sake, I hope he was blind drunk and completely smashed on pills when he spouted this nonsense.

JUST when we think he or his rich Daddy have said the DUMBEST thing ever, well....this one tops them all. Clown show.

Do you really think " would could of been" is a legit saying?

Exactly. Randy gone will open up more opportunities for Micah to rush the passer.

That went right over your head.

Parsons had more sacks his rookie season WITH Randy Gregory on team than the legendary LT did his first season as full time pass rusher.
