Von Miller is expected to sign with the Dallas Cowboys

Even if he sucks on the field, his knowledge of the game around our young kids is going to be incredible.

Love this move.
Bingo!! As much as he may contribute on the field he will help in meetings and general knowledge for the young guys. And this buys us time for Lawrence to develop. I love this move too.

I dunno. On the one hand, 20 snaps a game would be helpful and he will be a positive influence on the younger guys.

On the other hand, the timing is suspicious. I don't think they really wanted to do this but a lack of development from the younger guys forced the issue.

Obviously, his impact will depend on his ability to stay healthy.
They have been talking about making a move since camp opened, so I'm not really sure it's all about a lack of development. I think they actually recognized that they don't have much of a proven pass rush on the outside. They've got a DeMarcus Lawrence-type in Gary, but no other edge has done much up to this point. Houston was the most proven, but that was years ago. Houston and Miller would by my passing downs ends until/unless the young guys step up. I like Lawrence having to earn reps.

Hopefully those 9 sacks with the Commanders last year didn't drain him of all his remaining juice.

I was hoping Crosby but Miller is most likely an upgrade over Gary even if he's 10 years older than him.

Better than what they have.
Cautiously optimistic.
IMHO he is not a upgrade over Gary or EZ but over Houston and Williams. Gary and EZ will get the majority of snaps and Von will be a rotational 3rd down guy.

I been wanting this guy since coming into the league…better late than never. He was always suppose to be a Cowboy….

Hope this goes better than the last guy we got from the Commanders who was an edge.
He wants this bad..........practically begged Jerry to sign him. Sure, he's very happy.........excellent locker addition, too. Hard to believe he helped DWare win his first Super Bowl years ago.

You thought he was loafing? Hmmmm that wasn't my first thought watching him. Wonder if the media people will bring it up
i watched a youtube of all his plays against Seattle, looked hesitant on a couple plays, but he held his own, more than acceptable for his first nfl game at a new position.

IMO, Miller was the minimum Jerry could do to fake being engaged as a GM. Now if we get MAX, I will actually be impressed with Jerry and Spawn!

Reggie white and Chris Doleman had 15+ sack seasons at 37 years old……one can hope! Heal up, get that home team excitement….go get’ ‘em Von!

If Sam is on this team over marist and Wheat it'll be cp's first mistake.
I think he’s better than both.
That’s true. If they keep 6 he will likely be the guy. I just wouldn’t want them keeping him over Houston.
i think Houston is a lock.

Williams got bounced around in the echo chamber last year as being everything wrong with the defense. Him and Murray.

It really hasn’t ever let up since he got busted for weed. The Zone hates the devil’s lettuce.

I think it showed how he needs to be used at this point. Don't want to wear him out on early downs. Bring him in when you know a pass is most likely. Don't let tackles beat up on him in the running game.

It only takes the 33rd ranked defense in the league to make moves that make sense

Is he going to get 15 sacks? No

Will he be reliable on the field and a mentor to guys? Oh heck yeah
