Von Miller is expected to sign with the Dallas Cowboys

That seems to be pretty accurate on the DL. We most likely keep 10. Frankly, I thought some of the other DEs and DTs outplayed Williams and Overton, but they probably have a built in advantage since Williams is guaranteed $2 million this year and Overton was a fourth-round pick this year.

I'd keep Land or Wheat over Williams and Gilliam or Withers over Overton ... right now. That could change in a week, though.

Not sure who I'd cut. Maybe I'd go offense with someone like Denzel Mims.
I know people don't like Sam Williams but he is one of the better special teams players they have on the roster. He will most likely make the 53 because of this.

Land, Wheat, Gilliam and Withers will be good practice squad players.

I'd just rather keep the better defensive end, and Sam has not proven to be that. Now, probably neither Land nor Wheat is going to amount to much at this point in their careers, but I prefer the guys who play their position well. Land had two sacks in the scrimmage with the Rams and one against the Seahawks.

This means they couldn't manage to bring in Maxx Crosby, and Von is just a consolation prize—one I don't really see making a difference in improving this defense or turning them into contenders. If Von was still available, there was a reason for it, and the same goes for why Dallas hadn't signed him earlier.

Hell yes, Love it!!! They needed that Vet in there at LB
I don't agree. We have Overshown and Winters, both experienced players, and we're rarely going to play sets with three ILBs. I'm hoping Barham can steal some early-down work, but I'm not that concerned about ILB. My only major concern now is OT/swing OT.

Wow, this is completely wrong.

In limited action, he created consistent pressure last year. He's still got that. He'll be a third-down and big moment guy this year.

He's here to help get the defense off the field on third down.

This was my pass rusher signing in the spring. I figured he'd be cheaper than the big prizes but like Clowney is still productive when he's on the field. I was surprised that we were in on the Maxx Crosby trade. Not as surprised that we traded for Gary since he only cost a fourth. I didn't think after that that the Joneses would be willing to pull the trigger on Miller. Glad to see I'm wrong. Obviously, Miller is not ideal at this point of his career, but he showed last year that he can put up numbers just as good as many team's top pass rusher per snap. With Gary and Quinnen, he makes it harder to just double Quinnen on every passing snap.

Miller is a good signing. He's old at 37, but he dropped the QB 9 times last year. He won't help in the run game, but in passing situations, he'll give you 20-25 quality snaps a game. He's a guy who leads by example -- he does all the work and more. Our younger players will learn a ton from having a future HOF player on the team.

Literally no downside to this development.

This is just a rumor from ESPN LOL
Lets wait and see if anything actually happens.
I think if they were gonna do it , it would be a few games into the season.
