that Phillip Merling highlight is one of the weakest highlights i've seen.. how the heck did they count that as a sack? if that was a sack, then Demarcus Ware already has about 12 sacks on the season..

Felix may get it just cause his highlight run was the best of the bunch.. Flacco's stats weren't very good and Merling's sack shouldn't have even counted.. Ryan's numbers were okay, but he did have a nice highlight touchdown throw.. but really, it should be either Felix or Slaton..

I can't believe the NFL allowed that to even be nominated. Not to often you see a blown call by the refs as a highlight to be nominated for an award.

Without having watched the video it doesn't show how many attempts RB Slaton from Houston had 18 attempts for 116 yards. It only showed he had 116 yards and compared to Felix Jones 76 yards on 6 attempts. If a lot of voters go by yards only they will see Slaton having more yards than Jones even though Jones had 12 less attempts (2/3).

That was about as bad as the call on Cutler's fumble vs the Chargers, good thing it was in the beginning of the game and not at the end.
