VOTE: Which set of coaching "Triplets" do you prefer?

What if you could have one of two "bundels" of coaches for Dallas next season, and had to pick one or the other. Which of the two sets of "triplets" listed below would you prefer, and Why?

OPTION-1: N.Turner (HC); Rivera (DC); Garrett (OC).

OPTION-2: Rivera (HC); Singetery (DC); Garrett (OC).

Option 1.

Either Singeltary or Rivera accomplish what we want on defense. We don't know about Garrett but would have Norv to offset that.

#1 -- I don't really like the rumblings that Singletary isn't an X's & O's guy. That's exactly what a DC needs to be.

Also, it doesn't inspire much confidence that Nolan wasn't willing to hand him the DC job when Manusky only has 1 more year of coaching under his belt.

I like the idea of #2 best as well. But you can't ignore the trend Norv has with RB production.

In the end, if either one of those scenarios panned out, I would be a happy Cowboy fan.

I have a real problem with hiring a lame duck coach. Who the heck is going to listen to a coach who has a history of being soft if they know his replacement is already on the roster? What million dollar baby is going to come in and listen to a coach who makes less then he does and who's contract is shorter then his is?

That's a stupid move IMO.

I think if its Singletary and Rivera it'll be Singletary as HC and Rivera at DC

that said, I really think its gonna be Norv-Rivera-Garrett...and all things considered I think thats by FAR the best situation we can hope for...

Norv will win here with this team for a couple seasons, maybe 3...then Garrett or if they can convince Rivera to stay will be HC...

by the way if we get Rivera as DC I bet we find out Jerry has made him one of the highest paid assistant coaches in the NFL

I would take #2 in a heartbeat but I don't think Singletary will come here as the DC under Rivera. He might under Norv as the defense would be all his, but not so under Rivera.

I believe that is what I heard as well but he would be more likely to come if he was going to have total control of the defense.

I would have to go with option 1 I guess, only because it includes Rivera as the DC........option 2 does not make much since because Rivera runs a 4-3 and Singletary a 3-4....if Rivera is hired as HC, he will probably bring someone else in.....plus Singletary said he would not leave SF for just a DC position, only the HC job.

I personally would want my option III.....hire Rivera as HC, we have JG as OC and let Rivera bring in his own defensive staff, that is the option I would prefer......nothing against Norv, just the thought of andother retread coach does not excite me much.
