Wade and Campo

Did anybody else see that and get the same impression? Does anybody know what was really being said between the two?? I'm just guessing but would love to know for sure.

I'm over Campo...he's this year's bruce read.

Yeah, but the secondary is still the weakest link on the entire team, too much confusion, often at critical junctures of the game. And its been that way since he returned, so players can only be blamed so much. Bowles had the secondary (almost all the same vets) playing at a much higher level.

Wade also got on TNew after he messed up. I bet he does that more than he gets credit for.

I think you are absolutely right,.......he knows his defense and doesn't miss much...........I also think he took a large bite out of Campo when discussing that ridicolus defensive play that gave up the easy touchdown.:)

Campo was a blah headcoach handed a damned if you do or don't team but his credentials as a defensive coordinator or defensive back coach are not questionable.

I want Campo fired as much as I want to see Wade gone

Wade to Campo "Bad Dave no donut"

Campo to Wade "I'm tellin' Jerry"

In all seriousness though it was good to see some interaction between Wade and the staff/players though.

This is awesome. Unless I'm mistaken, the play in question was when all the LBers shifted right and there was noone on the weak side to pick up the back. They were tripping over each other.

As for Campo I have two names to give you: Jenkins and Scandrick. Campo has been the best in the league for going on two decades when it comes to developing young secondary talent.

Darren Woodson, All Pro 1994, 1995, 1996.
Kevin Smith, All Pro 1993.
Roy Williams, All Pro 2003.
Rashean Mathis, All Pro 2006.

Looked like Wade said "...how did that happen" or...something similar. Then Campo gave him some answer apparently Wade didn't like because Wade turned away while making a face and shaking his head.
I doubt it was about food.

Wade: "Campo, when are you going to start wearing elevator shoes?"
Campo: "Why, Wade?"
Wade: "I am tired of looking down at you!"
Campo: " Oh, yeah, well at least I don't have to jack my legs apart to put my pants on!"

Any chance Wade sticks around as DC when JG gets the head coach gig?

A friend of mine was at the game and was seated right above them. This is what he heard:

Campo: WOW, that play didn't work huh? HELLOOO
Wade: Yeah Dave, not so good, but hey, that's on me.....So, as head coach, I should probably yell at you a little?
Camp: Yeah.......yeah, probably so
Wade: So, umm.......ok, I'm not quite sure how to do this. The whole yelling thing is kind of new to me
Campo: Tell you what, let's figure out where we're going to dinner tonight, and move your arms around kind of like you're mad....make it look good for the camera.
Wade: Right.....right........umm, so I heard there's this new buffet...............

I saw it. I'm sure Wade was questioning Campo about the coverage on that play. I see many HC talking and even hollering at assistant coaches I would not make too much of it. Just part of what takes place on the sidelines.

Campo sucks and always has, I can't wait for him to go.

Jimmy Johnson did not think he sucked as a secondary coach which is why he brought Campo with him from the University of Miami to Dallas

Because he was the HC and failed so now he all of a sudden does not know how to coach the secondary. Yet looking at the kids he has worked with over the years I think Campo knows what he is doing when it comes to secondaries.
