Sorry Hoss but Wade does not make me think we can win it all with him as HC. BP is old news, was pretty much burnt out as coach after 2003. And he built the foundation of this team. Wade was supposed to build on that to win it all. Sorry but he has not even come close. BP was 0-2 postseason and Wade is 1-2 with a MUCH BETTER TEAM. And say what you will we did not end our seasons getting destroyed or losing to teams not as good as we were which is what has happened the last 3 years. So wade has frankly improved very little on BP and THAT IS NOT ENOUGH.
Above all, Wade has the support of the players...that counts for a lot IMO.Hostile;3244348 said:The man won the NFC East, his 2nd in 3 years. He won a playoff game as Cowboys Head Coach. Something not even a Hall of Famer like Parcells had done.
You actually think he would agree to come back but step aside? Why even entertain that thought when you know it's going to be ridiculous?

You don't believe Wade will win a SB with us fine. Since only one team a year does that, chances are you will be right.
But you can't sit here and say Wade done a poor job, that we've regressed.
This team and more specifically this defense is light years ahead of where it was in 2006.
Draegerman;3244826 said:Of course you can say he did a poor job and of course you can say that this team regressed during his 2nd year after the bar was set so high. This season had more to do with the players coming together like a real true team should. With guys like Brooking, James & Romo taking the reins from Wade, it's easy to see where the leadership was coming from.
I realize that Wade is going to get credit for picking up Brooking this season but there was a reason behind it and that reason had to do with Wade's short-comings as a leader. He needed it to come from within the team and that was successfully accomplished.
But the great 90s teams also had internal leaders on it, too, but make no mistake about it, they still knew who was running the show. And that guy was more successful than Landry (even though I've always felt he was the greatest leader among men).
Regardless, this is most certainly not that great 90s team we all came to love and Wade is certainly not as great a coach as Jimmy.

I forget sometimes that I should care about what you think. I'd make myself a note to remind me, but I'd forget where I put it.burmafrd;3244719 said:BECAUSE they have not won it all. Wade has not even come close.

It's like I mentioned before to another poster, you're putting lipstick on a pig and trying to sell us on the idea that it's the prettiest girl in the room.
