I support Wade. I think he's gotten a bad rap around here and has done some good things in his career. Most recently it seems he's starting to get fired up the way a head coach should be. I think part of this is because there are no more babies such as T.O. that he feels the need to baby.

Why since BP nleft? He didn't get us a playoff win either.

I think some are hung on BP beacuse he generally got the more from his team than Wade seems to be doing up until now.

BP built a pretty good core of talented players, but he missed on a lot of them too. I credit him for Romo's rise as our starter as well as the addition of Ware. But he didn't really impress me here in Dallas.

I think BP did a good job during his time in Dallas. I wish he would have stayed on for another year to have Romo starting for him for a full season.

That's part of the problem. I don't believe he had enough confidence in Romo's ability as a player and felt that he would be wasting his time. I think he just felt that Romo was the best player he had at QB.

Any prediction on him ever coming back to coach again?

I didnt like the hire from Day 1.

So far the teams success has been "in spite" of him. A real Barry Switzer-like coaching deal.

If we win anything it will also be "in spite" of him.

Cowher or Garrett in 2010.
Would you have preferred Norv?

Why coach when you can be the puppet master.

Boy, good thing some of you aren't Colts fans... Took Peyton and Dungy several years to win the big one. They are scrubs, aren't they?

LOL. I just think BP was too old school and the game had passed him by. Aside from his defense, I thought his offensive philosophy was outdated. I like the ground game as much as anyone, but he didn't want to pass the ball enough. And I think he really didn't want to coach a player like T.O.

I respect Jerry for having some patience and keeping Wade as HC and not giving the job to JG or some other totally unproven coach. He took some heat for hiring him, he took some heat for keeping him this long, but I think Jerry did the right thing. I personally like Wade and would love nothing more than to see him raising the Lombardi.

We will have a winning record. We should make the playoffs. If we go to the Super Bowl we'd be foolish to let Wade go. If we don't win a playoff game, we'd be foolish to keep him. Anything in between and it comes down to who is available to step in...

The list of available coaches for next year should be great.........

Question is, do we go into that list of Cowher/Shanahan/possibly Gruden etc.. or do we stick with Garrett?

I'm sure it all depends on how our offense performs.. but what happens if our defense plays well and our offense doesn't play well? Not sure that scenario would make us get rid of Wade/keep Jason.

Should be interesting, that's for sure.

If BP was the head coach of the Cowboys in 07', we at least get to the Super Bowl. 07' was our best opportunity to go all the way. There's no way we lose to the Giants at home with BP as head coach.

That is your opinion... It certainly isn't mine...BP would have been very lucky to get the team in 2007 to a 8-8 record.

Wade has lost my Confidence
Maybe he just misplaced it?

Either way, I hope he finds it. I know how much I hate losing things and I imagine that Wade feels the same way.

I am not a big fan of Wade, but if Garrett is the heir-apparent than I say keep him around as long as possible.

We need someone with the cajones to stand up to Jerry once in a while. Garrett is a puppet.

I wish Gruden had a better track record in his relationships with quarterbacks because he would be my first choice. However, his inability to get along with quarterbacks and high profile offensive players as a whole, bothers me.

Shanny, Gruden and Cowher aren't coming here without expressed power over any/all personnel decisions, like BP had.

It's year to year with me regarding Wade as hc.if we get to the NFCCG then we bring him back in2010. No playoff appearance/win, then it's time to move on to Garrett or someone else.

I'm pulling for Wade.

Would love either, especially Garrett.

I think Garrett is gone after this year, unless he really likes his situation in Dallas, and will wait it out if Wade succeeds this year

He has plenty of control as it is, and him and Jerry seem to have a good relationship, so you never know.

If the offense performs anywhere close to the 2007 standard, Garrett will be the guy in 2010.

Jerry loves him, Romo loves him, and we'd be keeping the same offensive system in place.

(Unless we win the Super Bowl, in which case Wade will be back).

In my opinion, Parcells would have mentally beaten down the players before they even sniffed the playoffs.

Don't get me wrong. I really liked Parcells, but his old school ways were outdated and had run their course.
