Your Wade hate notwithstanding, what does Wade have to do with Jerry's more than a quarter century of mismanagement?

Wade won as many playoff games in 3 seasons than Garrett did in 10 seasons, and Garrett only won division a whopping 1 more than Wade.

Garrett only had 1 postseason bye in 10 seasons, same as Wade in 3 seasons.

That would be awesome. I only say that because Wade makes it super easy to learn his scheme. And he would fit these pass rushers where they go.

We do have at least two candidates to rush from a standing position in Aldon Smith and Bradley Anae. Gregory would be a third option when he returns. Whether any of them could actually cover? That's another question.

And they need to move on from Lawrence ASAP anyway.

Re-sign Aldon, phase out Lawrence, draft a rush LB or disruptive D-lineman next year (as has often been done in his first year at a new stop), use his excellent input on evaluating defensive talent, and you could be vastly improved in one year.

But as several have said, he may not want to come here because of the whole Garrett fiasco with Jerry. He'll probably have other offers that don't involve that mess.

But he would get to beat Jason's offense twice a year...
