Alot of blame has been thrown around whether it was Wade Philips, Garrett or Romo but what about the guy that is suppose to help Romo which is Wade Philips, the Quarterbacks coach.

Wade is responsible of the development of Tony Romo. Wilson is responsible for how Romo throws the ball, holds the ball and make the right reads, to name a few.

IMO, I don't think that Wade Wilson has done that good of a job with the development of Romo's quarterback skills.

If Wade has been doing his job correctly, Romo won't be fumbling the ball the way he does. Romo keeps the ball down low and with one hand.

Romo's foot-work is not what it should be as it was pointed out several times against the Steelers and Ravens game. I am sure it wasn't good against the Eagles too.

If Wade and Garrett do indeed come back.... Wade Wilson may need to go.

If we all expect Romo to take it to the next level, Romo may need a new QB's coach!

Can you fire him? I think he is protected under the American's With Disabilities Act since he has such a severe case of floppysock he had to take steroids to fix it.

:lmao2: :lmao: If I could he wouldn't see Texas again unless he vacations there with his family.

Seriously, Wade sucks. What the heck did he do in Chicago?

There really aren't that many coaches on this staff that I want to stay. I like Ray Sherman and Todd Gratham. Not sure who else. Yeah, I think Wilson should get canned. But he has too much history with the organization to get fired, IMO.

Lord knows we ain't won squat since that sideline ****** came on the scene. I am open to sacrificing him and pulling his still beating foam heart out at midfield if anyone thinks it will help.

Than explain why Romo keeps fumbling the ball, throws lots of picks and makes poor reads?

Because Romo is a riverboat gambling, street baller that will probably burn out in this league right about at the same pace Kordell Stewart did.

Your setting your sights really low if you are looking at Wade Wilson as the focal point of change. Besides, Romo had how many years under David Lee to correct those things?

The entire organization needs a change of culture from the top down. Firing the QB coach isn't going to accomplish squat.

HE was already fired. Parcells fired him.

That should have been enough for jerry to realize he is not competent.

Instead, jerry's safety mechanism kicks in and he brings him right back.

Like I said, If Wade and Garrett are no doubt coming back and there needs to be change in the organization, than look no further than Wade Wilson.

As for David Lee, How long did he really work with Romo? How many games has Romo started under him? Not many!

Exactly. I never understood why we brought him in. He has no business coaching quarterbacks in this league.

Frankly, not even sure how he landed the Chicago gig after being let go here. Much less how he then got re-hired here.

By far our most ineffective coach IMO.

This could be a good, fresh start Romo could use.

The only person responsible for Romo's mistakes is Romo and no one else. Wilson, nor anyone else, is telling Tony to carry the football like a loaf of bread or force the football into places it should not be thrown to.
Romo's ultimate success or failure is up to him and him alone.
Blaiming Wade Wilson for Romo's struggles is silly:lmao2:

Please tell me what the quarterbacks descriptions is? I guess you don't understand his job... look it up and let me know what his job description says before you respond like you have no clue.

Romo needs discipline. He needs to remember he is an example settter, a leader. He is not 1 of 53, he is the leader. He needs a coach that can strike the fear of god in him and make him a more disciplined player.

and yes, he can still be the risk taking big playmaker in that situation.

It is clear as can be, right now the guys dont respect one another, they do not respect the coaches and most dont have enough respect for themselves.

Keep grasping at straws, maybe you will feel better. Players are responsible for their own actions. You can teach and show all you want, but the player must ultimately perform. Hate to burst your bubble, but clueless people, such as yourself, need direction every once in awhile.
As I said, blaiming everyone else for Romo's poor performance is silly :star:

If Jerry isn't going to dump Wade Phillips after this putrid season, why in the world would he dump Wade Wilson, a long-time back-up QB for this team and a mentor to Troy Aikman? His emotional attachment is just too great. After all, he already brought him back once after Parcells showed him the door.

It is much simpler. Garrett should not get a pass for not realizing he had 3 stud backs and this team could have been a running team first and foremost and mix in the passing game.

Run Barber and Choice for the bulk of the running, throw in Felix for a change of pace and when the D starts putting 8 in the box, throw to single coverage on the outside to TO and Crayton and up the seam to Witten covered by LB's and this offense would have been humming all year.

Plus, you don't need to trade draft picks for Roy Williams and can build depth through the draft the way the last 10 superbowl champs have.
