Sorry guys, but with the 30th ranked defense in the league that allows almost 450 yards a game....................we aint winning jack!!!

Defense wins championships, always has and always will. Name me one SuperBowl winner that had a defense that sucked, statistically speaking. (ranked among the bottom 5 teams like we are now). I cant think of a single one.

Wade is done guys, he is in the last year of his contract and Jerry has not offered him an extension. Blowing the innagrual game in JerryWorld probably didnt help Wade's chances at an extension either.

All you need is a mediocre defense to get you there, and to get hot at the right time to win it all. If it would please the court:

Colts, 2006. 21st overall, 32nd against the rush, 2nd against the pass more because you could run over them all day long. They got hot at the right time. Total yards allowed by Indianapolis through their first two games? 433 (Giants), 299 (28th ranked offense, Houston)

2005 Seattle, didn't win it of course in the worst officiated Super Bowl in the history of the NFL. 16th overall, 25th against the pass, 5th against the run. They played the easiest schedule in the NFL that season.

Arizona, 2008 also couldn't beat the team in stripes plus the team in gold and black at the same time. 19th overall, 16th against the run, 22nd against the pass. They also had the worst rushing attack with under 74 yards per game, or 10 yards fewer per game than the 0-16 Detroit Lions.

disagree with that, championship defenses win superbowls and gets you there more than a poor defense

you might score alot of points, but a very good nasty defense can stop you too

dont know about not getting there; but i do agree that wade needs to get off of his lazy doughboy rear end and coach the defense like he is suppose too

no more excuses wade, this is your last run, if you dont do it here, no owner is ever going to hire you again

Actually he is. Look at his career not just the last few games.

His career? You must be joking. How may championship defenses has he had in his career? He is and always has been middle of the back at best.

Which one of those examples are in the bottom 5 overall at the end ? That's what he was saying. The Colts example is poor because they didn't stop the run, nor did they care. They were typically beating teams to the point the other team had to pass, and that is where they excelled.
