The LB's need to be smart enough to know when to decide to stunt if they are called to do so on a given play because if they do rush the passer, and the qb has enough time to see the opening where the LB was supposed to be at had he not stunted, he can pass to that area if a reciever is there and a big play can be given up. That is what happened all day during the cincy game. I think SD was too overzealous in terms of thier defensive play-calling me thinks. The same could happen to us; we could end up taking TOO many chances and put too much pressure on the offense if we give up enough plays.

so far, what i've seen is 3 down linemen, and one rush backer from either side. two Lbers, and 5DBs with 2 deep safeties against 3 wide.
