Wade's PC

We said this two years ago. I think someone posted that the odds of beating a team three teams (if they meet in the playoffs) is actually quite high.

But I'd rather play the Eagles here than at Philly.

The biggest reason I want the game in Dallas is I don't think Romo is a great cold weather quarterback due to his small hands. We're much better off at home due to the dome than playing in a possible blizzard in Philly.

I like Romo's chances to put up big numbers against any team in the playoffs other than GB on the road and Philly on the road. I wouldn't mind NO, Minnesota or Arizona on the road as they don't have great defenses.

Actually, Philly and GB are the two teams I''d prefer not to play, period.

Wade sounds hungry and said will only let team celebrate this win until 3 PM tomorrow.

I really can imagine he was trying to pump his players up. The task that has to be completed to make the only goal come true has happened. Playoffs, to the Super Bowl.

no, we lost to them in Philadelphia in 1992 and 1995 but won the two games in Dallas.

We didn't play them in the 1993 post season.

I thought we played them but maybe it was just GB in the divisional round and then SF in the championship game.

Deion just said that either the Cowboys or Eagles will be in the Superbowl...

I want GB.....I think we take em....

Oh im sorry is this 2008? I could've sworn it was 2009 and we just made the playoffs.

No, No, I was agreeing with you. It worked for us last year, your right, this team and this coaching staff have a great history, (multiple year history) of coming out and playing hard when it counts. You were right, it was an excellent post on your part.

Well, he's got a 1/3 shot at being right, so at some point it's not much of a stretch.

I do think Dallas and Philly are the best two teams in the NFC.

I would take GB so long as the game is in Dallas. No way I want to go play in GB.

Well, there's always next year fellows. :laugh2:

Happy with what I heard from Wade in the PC that is being aired right now on The Ticket....

So.....do we pull out all the stops next week to gain home field on the Eagles.....

or do we play hard but keep our real game plan for the playoffs?

Like Dungy said.......you dont want to show your whole hand if your going to meet them next week in the playoffs.

Thoughts?

If this truly is the case then this is good news and perhaps shows that Wade has learned something.

that was last year and no longer relevant

Way to close out 2009! We agree again! That's like twice in this decade! :D

Can't remember the other one but hey! You are dead on.

It doesn't matter what happened last year, because if it did we would have lost to NO and Washington. As it is, we eliminated the Giants (couldn't be happier about that) and got our selves in the playoffs, which we didn't do last year.

Yep...and we'll win it next year as well....in our own house!

Interesting to see how Minn plays the next couple weeks as well.

Maybe Favre is tiring out a bit?

Could be that Minn and NO peaked too early.

We're likely playing Philly in the first round, regardless of what happens next week. So next week is just to play for where that game is held. Honestly, we appear to be a better road team for whatever crazy reason, so I don't have strong feelings about next week.

Of course, being a season ticket holder, I'd love to have a home playoff game.

Let's see. Play AT HOME in a dome or in *** knows what type of weather in hostile Philly? Not a real tough decision. We really NEED to win next week. Not to mention going into the playoffs on a win and a positive note.

They already know half the things they tell them. That's neither here nor there.

It's just ridiculous to claim that him saying they have "30 minutes to the playoffs" means he's satisfied with just getting to the playoffs. I mean, that's really just silly.

I agree. I mean, there's things I don't like about Wade too, but there's nothing wrong with reminding the team what's at stake.

But is it a certainty that we will already know if we will be playing them in the playoffs by the time our kick off starts?

I think we play hard. Use the game plan that was successful the first time around, maybe a wrinkle or two if necessary and go from there.

Also, I don't think we go too far away from our playbook either way, since it has been successful lately.
