Wagner: LeSean McCoy 'didn't want no part' of contact

I wonder what crap we would've heard if we had lost to Seattle. I'm glad we gave them nothing to chirp about. When you win you celebrate and move on. Don't dis the opponent, even if it is the stank Eagles.

"Nonsense. By all means, diss." --- Doc Holliday

Technically, he said he didn't want 'no part' of contact, meaning he wanted at least some part of it. Maybe McCoy hears that and takes it as a nice compliment that settles him down before our game.

Somehow I think the intended message is what he'll hear lol

My buddy is an Eagles fan, and I asked him why McCoy has struggled this year, whether it's a lack of speed or O-line issues. And he said he's been scared of contact all season after getting smoked earlier in the season (pre-season maybe?). He no longer fights for yardage if he doesn't have to, he'll go down as soon as he's touched. Basically, force him to go up the middle, don't let him get to the edges and he should be neutralized.

Yep the Hawks seem to have gotten their swagger back. If my a Boys can't pull it off this year then I will root for the Seahawks. I just really like the way they play, reminds me very much of the 90's Cowboys. Killer defense and killer rb once they start to get him going. They talk a lot but I like that they are able to back it up. Much rather see a killer D go on a run and take out all of the supposed hot shot qb's just like they did to Peyton last year.

People have been mentioning that the last seven teams have lost after playing the Seahawks. It's kind of funny, if you go back and check the Seahawks schedule, after they played us they lost to the Rams back when the Rams weren't doing that well.

I think that is a very observant point. I totally agree, I think the Seahawks had a multiple-game hangover after playing us. We dominated them as completely as the Seahawks dominated Philly. I think they left that game with serious doubt about whether they can beat us, much like Philly and their fans have little faith that they can beat the Hawks. Both beat downs were that thorough. When you beat someone at their own game the way we did against Seattle, or when you completely nullify the strength of a team like Seattle did to Philly's offense, it can be pretty convincing.

Seattle talks when they win. Seattle talks when they lose. Seattle talks when they're on a bye. Seattle talks when they're home for the holidays. Seattle talks. Period. It is what they do.

they didn't say a word after the cowboy game. they only talked after the charger game to respond to the the charger players. i don't remember much chat after the chief loss either.

Seattle is not in a whole lot better position than us. Only Detroit having the same record is keeping them from our 7 seed. They have to win out to assure a spot just like us. They can end up 11-5 and lose out to us if they dont have help.

So they can talk all they want but they best show up the next 3 weeks

That's part of the Legion of boom. They put that fear in their opponents and they back it up enough to shut people up. I personally respect them for that. We have some guys on this defense like McClain and Scandrick that bring that fire and don't back down from anybody. I personally love that.

This is what Seattle does. They're a team built on swagger. From top to bottom, they like to talk, they're in your face, and normally they can back it up.

Living up here though? Ugh. I want them to go back to being irrelevant.

That's interesting. I wonder what hit it was and I wonder too if just one hit can change your entire mindset. I've personally never been hit THAT hard but maybe there's something to it.

Sorry I can't take Seattle's defense seriously after Murray steamrolled them. Legion of Boom my ***.

I'm

That's not because the Seahawks sucked. That's just a credit to how great Murray and this line played that game. No reason to discredit the Cowboys for their performance. They dominated the Seahawks in Seattle. They are still the best defense in this league.

I'm just glad we shut them up because they way they are talking.....goodness. They just won't stop talking about the Eagirls.

I think that's been pretty obvious with the Eagles. They're a finesse team. We have to be more physical and not give 10 yard zone cushions.
