Waiting for a Signing thread

I still think Colombo gets done (fingers crossed, knocking on wood, etc.)

He played pretty well at guard for Arizona at the start of his career.

Didn't help that everyone around him was horrid, but I think he could do well with Gurode to his left and Colombo to his right.

Just my opinion but Davis at Guard could be more than adequate maybe even dominant.

Does anyone else get the feeling Colombo's holding us hostage?

;)

I had to.

We will rue the day if we don't sign Colombo......

as a Rookie he was good, and even dominant at times at G. One game I recall, a DB blitzed and he got a nice low block near the guy's stomach -- since Davis was so big, his follow through ended up knocking the guy up into the air and downfield about 5 yards.

I like him as G -- but if he wants LT money then he isn't coming here.

No way you pay him LT money. Solid guard money (3-4 a year?) for 4 years is nice.

FLETCHER IS IN D.C.

We're told that linebacker London Fletcher is in Washington, meeting with the team.

Though the Bills, Lions, and Pats are still interested in the veteran middle linebacker, the 'Skins have a track record of getting deals done when they bring guys in for a visit.

Stay tuned.
