I think it goes somewhat beyond that. Look what happened a little over a year ago. A bogus Al Jazeera report claimed many players, including Peyton, Harrison, Peppers and Mathews were being secretly shipped PED's. Goodell threatened each one with suspension if they didn't come to New York to make a statement. Those guys will have a lot of influence when it comes to the bargaining table.

That is precisely my concern. The league can simply give Zeke another shot to appeal (start the process over) and then simply rule that he is still guilty no matter the evidence/testimony that come out in the second go round. If anything, Zeke would have less of a chance at a truly "fair" appeal the second time around than he had the first time around (and he had zero chance first time around) because of the current fight between the two entities..

Unless the court system/judge could appoint the person or people to handle the 2nd appeal to make it truly unbiased...?

I love you tube comments! There is even some occasional cleverness and a lot of great comedy, albeit agreed that most of the comedy is idiocy based. Don't know if they can/will do that. Optimally, as someone stated earlier in this thread, the court could simply order the suspension vacated based on unfair process and that would be the end of it (unless NFL tried taking to SCOTUS (which I don't think would have a snowball's chance in hell of being heard).

I think the league is railroading him with an unfair process. And I think he is innocent of his charge the league is trying to level against him. I think the accuser is a gold digger who saw her gold mine turning on her and she tried to ruin him, just like she saidshe would.

But I do not absolve Zeke for his off the field decision making process. He needs to make better decisions off the field or he will continue to get in trouble with not only the league, but with the law.

And that is most definitely a fact.

Which brings up one of my questions. Can a player choose not to join the NFLPA/union? The 1 or 2% have a real interest in not being subjected to this arbitrary BS from the league.

They don't have to join the Union but they have to pay an equal amount to yearly dues as a fee

They are still subject to punishment but I imagine the NFLPA would not back them in court.... I don't think it would help them in Court being independent

She was talking about getting a boob job from money she would get from blackmailing Zeke with porn videos they made together.

In the end, she is what she is.

When this ordeal is over, Zeke has to learn to stay away from these types of people.
