Don't know if this is a fact or not but on Inside the NFL Boomer E made the comment that the alleged DV occurred even before EE signed his pro contract with the cowboys.... That said if true, it at least appears to me that they took into account " allegations" of conduct when
he was a private citizen, and then to me only subject to the true court system and not the NFL policy.
Anyone else hear that, or have an opinion if indeed those are the facts...
1. NFL questionably suspends Elliott.
2. NFLPA, on behalf of Elliott, sues the NFL to vacate the suspension.
3. Because litigation takes a while, they simply asked, initially, for an injunction to "pause" everything until its sorted out in court. It was granted.
4. The NFL, now, has tried to file an expedited appeal to attempt to overturn the injunction and force the suspension even before the case is litigated, citing irreparable harm.
There are fundamental problems with the NFL's stance, but I can get into those later when I'm not terribly busy at work and taking 5 mins to check in here, lol.
He was subject to their rules once he went to Draft Combine and definitely when draftedDon't know if this is a fact or not but on Inside the NFL Boomer E made the comment that the alleged DV occurred even before EE signed his pro contract with the cowboys.... The fact that the NFL ignored the findings from the lead investigator and withheld it is a very serious problem the NFL will face in front of any court. CBA is not a cover to abuse the rights of any employee.
This is my thought as well
If the courts feel that the NFL is abusing their power, Zeke may be the least of their worries.

They are subject to the rules once they go to the combine or get draftedYes I heard that and often thought this. But I guess they go by the allegations or when it happened was after the draft. Regardless when he signed his contract, I guess he is under NFL rules. Don't sound right, but not sure why no one is really addressing this.
Other players drafted this year, they said it happens in college so no punishment. Others they did not comment on, like Lewis, his was in college, but they never said it had no bearing. Jist another double standard against Dallas.
Yep, that video is ESPN disinformation propaganda. I think the folks posting that crap think they are helping further the conversation but it just dirties the water and that is ESPN's intent.Dan Graziano knows nothing.
Also the headline on the ticker is wrong because no judge has made any decision.
It looks like the hearing is set for Sept 25th........who knows how long after that for the decision but probably a weekWhen is the ruling on the stay supposed to come down?
Thanks bknightIt looks like the hearing is set for Sept 25th........who knows how long after that for the decision but probably a week
Is that a hearing or when briefs are due from the NFLPA responding to the NFL's request? It looks like the hearing is set for Sept 25th........who knows how long after that for the decision but probably a week
