How great would this draft be is this a realistic possibility? That would allow us to spend the 4th likely on the highest rb/wr on our board. I prefer Warmack but I think this would be one of the best drafts possible, thoughts???

It's very realistic actually.
I guess Cooper and Reid may not be there, but it's not too far-fetched that they would be.
But I'm not completely sure I'd want Reid in the 2nd.
The odds of Logan being there in the 3rd are very good. I was thnking he may even be there in the 4th.

The entire Draft was
Jonathon Cooper, OG
Eric Reid, SS
Benny Logan, DT
Stphan Taylor, RB
Jordan Hill, DT
Conner Vernan, WR

Agreed theirs definitely a possibility one of the two guards fall, but I hadn't seen Reid mocked this low before, although he didn't have a great year (his soph year was incredible) so it could happen, he's such a gifted athlete tho I think he would be perfect fit. I suppose Logan could slide to the 4th,especially with the excellent DT depth in this draft.

Hey BC54
Here's Mel Kiper's latest....which has Reid going after the 2nd round.

Todd McSahy, same thing. No Reid in 1st two rounds...

I would love this draft, being a Penn State fan, I am all for Jordan Hill

thx for the info, DFWJC....Very interesting I hope their right and he falls to us....and Cowboy Mccoy Elam in the 2nd would be amazing, but I can't see him falling that far...but who knows this year is a crapshoot

A good cry or bad cry ????? I gotta know.

It would be a good cry...so the taste of happy tears would not be as good as the tears of despair. :p:

Correct, not as salty.

The mock before this mock had Chance, Reid, and Logan. They are pretty convince that Reid and Logan will be there with our 2nd and 3rd.

A lot of mocks have Reid in late 1st to early 2nd. Logan is all over the map on the mocks, 2nd-5th.

But this would be a great mock.

Taylor, Hills, Cooper would be great picks. I like players better then Reid and Logan.

Both guards will be gone when we pick IMO:mad:

Perhaps, but I don't think so.

Most teams aren't as desperate as Dallas at that position, and historically, it's hard for teams to pull the trigger in the first round on guards. They want splashier players that high.

My gut tells me that Warmack or Cooper will be there. If not, they may go DT with Richardson, but I'm hoping that we get our guard.

Jerry's going to trade one way or the other though. That's my opinion.

I hope we get any premier OL in the first--we can choose from several good safeties in two, if we don't take a DL

Suprisingly, th epostion that nearly half the teams in the league need badly this year is safety.
Huge turnover at that position and its becoming more important every year.

Hopefully Richardson, Cooper, or Warmack fall to us. Ideally only one of them--then New York will miss out :D

I dont think both guards will be gone. There are a number of lineman (good tackles) that are first round quality. I think we can get Cooper, and I will be tickled pink. I think he will turn out as good as if not better than Warmack.

PS. If all are gone, I can think of worse things. That means their is a potential Defensive Beast still on the board. I prefer OLine but I would not be distraught over a d linemen. As long as we stay away from Vaccaro for our first pick.

This would be a fantastc draft from top to bottom. Probably 3-4 starters.
