To those who hate the trade, think back to 2008. We had two 1st round picks and used them on mike Jenkins and Felix Jones. Felix lost his job in 2011. Jenkins wasn’t resigned. There’s no guarantee we hit on our picks. I’ll take a proven young player with upside.

I believe most importantly why this trade happened because how open the EAST is, if say Eagles were 6-1 I don't think this trade happens.
