Many have been asking for a good FA listing. This one is the best I've seen because it includes rankings and brief analysis.

http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/freeagents.php

Carl Nicks, G, Saints. Age: 27.
Carl Nicks is arguably the top guard in all of football. He has no weaknesses to his game; his blasts open huge holes for his running back, and he seldom allows a quarterback pressure. He was whistled for only two penalties all year.

Ben Grubbs, G, Ravens. Age: 28.
Ben Grubbs missed half the year with a turf toe injury. He's a talented guard who is a slightly better run blocker than pass protector.

Guess we know who we want huh.

Thanks for posting . This sure saves time .

By releasing Newman and a few others, we should have plenty space to add Nicks and a good NT like Red Bryant.

Here is my list I would start at the top and work my way down

Carl Nicks, G, Saints. Age: 27.

Brandon Carr, CB, Chiefs. Age: 26.
Brandon Carr allowed a completion percentage of 49.4 in 2011. He is a No. 1-caliber cornerback who will be rewarded with a big contract this offseason.

Laurent Robinson, WR, Cowboys. Age: 27.
Laurent Robinson was finally able to stay healthy, and he consequently had the best year of his career, catching 54 balls for 858 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was a key contributor when Miles Austin-Jones went down, so Jerry Jones will make a strong effort to re-sign him. Robinson is injury-prone though, so Jerry better not go crazy.

and one of the following

Red Bryant, DE/DT, Seahawks. Age: 28.
Red Bryant is a powerful run-stuffer who can play in both the 4-3 and 3-4.

Kendall Langford, DE/DT, Dolphins. Age: 26.
Kendall Langford is a really good, young five-tech who excels in both stopping the run and putting pressure on the quarterback. He's a key piece of Miami's 3-4 stop unit who will have to be retained.

Paul Soliai, NT, Dolphins. Age: 28.
At 6-4, 355 pounds, Paul Soliai is a monstrous, run-stuffing nose tackle. He made $12.3 million with the franchise tag this season.

I like that plan, but I think Carr will want too much. I'd go with a cheaper option like Tracy Porter and draft a CB in one of the first two rounds.

No bargain shopping !!

Sign one of these guys. Two if possible. They will be great for years
and worthy of the investment. I think Soliai and Campbell are more realistic.

Carl Nicks and M Williams will get huge contracts else where.

Paul Soliai

Calais Campbell

Carl Nicks

Mario Williams

Ew not Tracy Porter. He'll be cheap because he's awful.

Why, we have the money then spend it, Tracy porter, I would rather keep Newman.
Carr is worth it, a proven 26 year old in a 3-4 defense and is a top 15 cb. You want to fix this defense them it starts by getting a sure fire starting top cb and not gamble on a 2nd round pick or Tracy porter.

What do people think about Middleton and Marshall?

I'm tempted to say Nicks, either Bryant or Soliai, and one of the second tier CBs since together Nicks and either of those guys will cost some serious cash and the top-tier guys like Carr will be *very* expensive.

seahawks used Red Bryant everywhere this year, hes got the size for a DT but the quickness and speed for DE, Beast

He would be great on this dl in Ryan defense. The we could move him around anywhere.

Nicks is #1 prioty, and Carr is #2 he is the only cb I want, and then we resign Robinson, and depending on the money left we might done but I would try a back loaded deal with Bryant with a big signing bonus to keep the salaries low so we can sign them all.
