Wanna know how many times in his career Romo has thrown for under 200 yards 3 games in a row?

Dak also has never had a four INT game or a three for that matter. Or a pick six.

We could do this all day.
He's had a couple of days where this would have happened, but he's been pretty fortunate with defenders dropping picks, Much like Foles was that 27?/2 season.

No bigger fan of romo than me. (I just like saying that even though I know its probably the same as everyone else) but Its Dak's team. I get the sense we could lose out and they are staying with him.

He was awful tonight but they are not going back to Romo. The problem we now have is if he plays this poorly again they have a dilemma of epic proportions because he can't continue to play this way and waste an incredible season but he also can not get pulled for poor play because then what do you do in the offseason.

Just like when Dallas got whipped by the saints in 06 and they didn't go back to bledsoe the team will rally around Dak and get better. I imagine dak and dez play much better next week.

I will say this though, Dak has been struggling for over two weeks now and He is still out in the club 6 days before the most important game of the year. I don't think that can continue and I think it was really immature. He is the starter because he didn't turn the ball over and now you can't say that about him anymore because he has been giving up the ball and not playing well.

I think they bounce back at home next week, but if we are losing at the half next week and Dak is this bad again it is going to create the kind of crap storm that can tank the season. It will be the biggest story of the nfl season. The national media has been waiting for this and now its right on the cusp.

again though they are not going back to romo and I do not think Dak will struggle this much again.

This is the second time this season Dak has completed fewer than 50% of his passes, and that's without trying to push the ball dowfield. That's the bigger concern than total yards.

Especially considering the fronts that we're getting, and the time the line is providing.

How we're not hitting on huge chunk plays downfield blows my mind.

Yes he has. Many times.
More reckless maybe, which is its own set of problems, but I don't ever remember him looking overwhelmed by what a defense was doing to him like tonight. Through his career, Tony has been brilliant at learning what a defense is doing and adjusting. Dak hasn't been able to do that in a game yet.

Granted, Tony didn't play as a rookie.

I was surprised we didn't hit at least one tonight, they singled up everyone it seemed on third downs and they never even came close to a big play.

the only one who really got the best of Romo was Jim Johnson. He had romo playing defensively even when we beat them in 07.

Romo has only lost to spagnuolo one time and unfortunately it was the playoff game and he was copying jim johnson's game plan.

not even close. even in his high turnover affairs he showed the ability to get first downs

Wrong again. I just picked one game with 5 ints he threw vs Buffalo. And that was just a quick google search. Not going to go thru all his game logs though.

I don't understand it. It just doesn't make sense.

I'm very interested in trying to understand the reasons for it. Without addressing that, this offense is giving defenses the way to defend it.

Even if you don't have the ideal horses, you can still scheme your way into wins every now and then from an opposition standpoint.

Its December and the offense looks like crap

Ridiculous. We have an all-world QB rotting away on the sideline like overripe fruit and this ROOK is going to ruin the dream. Romo and Zeke, this offense would be unstoppable. But no. Rotting fruit. And he looks fatter than I've ever seen him. Bench warming has not been kind to him.

He did struggle with Jim Johnson, but I don't really think (or I guess remember all that well) that he looked defensive. I used to have a lot of problems with JG's offense trying to beat the blitz down the field, and that, at times, made Romo stand in there for way too long. I think that was always my problem with how we played against the Eagles, it wasn't Tony, personally, getting overwhelmed.

I dont give a **** about yards. I do care about moving the offense and not turning the ball over. Dak hasn't looked very good in the last few weeks.
