he saved that game in the end.
try again.
Saved by his teammates, try again.

He did struggle with Jim Johnson, but I don't really think (or I guess remember all that well) that he looked defensive. I used to have a lot of problems with JG's offense trying to beat the blitz down the field, and that, at times, made Romo stand in there for way too long. I think that was always my problem with how we played against the Eagles, it wasn't Tony, personally, getting overwhelmed.
So he did the same thing Dak is getting panned for, which is lead a game winning drive. Funny how that's a clutch drive, but not Dak in Philly or against Washington or against the Steelers.and a last second clutch winning drive.
You clearly didn't watch that game. Despite throwing 5 picks, give me Romo's performance that game over Dak's performance tonight 10/10 times.Buffalo game 2007. Romo threw 5, Buffalo qb threw 1.
He threw 5 against Chicago in a game we were losing 34-10 in the 4th at home.he saved that game in the end.

yawn.Nick Folk won the game with a 53 yd field goal. Tony didn't save the game, Folk did.
lol, no.You clearly didn't watch that game. Despite throwing 5 picks, give me Romo's performance that game over Dak's performance tonight 10/10 times.
Dallas won that game, Romo played terrible for just about all of it until we needed him to step up and he did and we won. Is Jason Witten a bad TE because he had no catches last week? We still won the game and Witten made the game saving play to catch the onside kick.Buffalo game 2007. Romo threw 5, Buffalo qb threw 1.

Buffalo gave that game away Tony did everything to lose it.
Yea, but I don't think you get big plays if you don't know where to find them. Tony always knew where to find them, I think, it was just a matter of getting it to happen.well he really struggled in 06 with Parcells/haley/sporano in charge of the offense and then we split with philly in 07 and 08...in the wins romo made big plays and in the losses it was like we couldn't get first downs!
I'll still stand by my statement, Dallas put up 25 points, that's an enourmous upgrade over 7, even with the extra couple of turnovers.lol, no.
He was God awful until the 4th quarter. The only reason that game was close is because Buffalo sucked. They missed a FG at the end of the first half and through a pick inside the Dallas 10 instead of kicking a FG that Newman returned into the Bills red zone, or Dallas loses. Good try though.

lol, I assume you mean he was chucking it up on 3rd down, which, yea, in effect is a punt. But 5 picks is 5 picks. Those were punts, not INTs.
He threw 2 pick-sixes in the first half. Good luck winning more than a game a year with that.I'll still stand by my statement, Dallas put up 25 points, that's an enourmous upgrade over 7, even with the extra couple of turnovers.
we scored 9 points in the last 3 minutes. that was very much because of Romo, not the field goal kickerWe won because of Folk.
We won because the team won. Just like tonight we lost because the team lost. Dez did not singlehandily lose us the game and he shouldn't be benched. Dak didn't singlehandily lose us the game and likewise should not be benched. We win as a team and lose as a team. But I don't think it's a slam dunk that Dak starts the rest of the year if his play doesn't improve. We won because of Folk.
