It looks like a good draft for RBs outside of the first round. If the right player falls, it's not hard to make a case. The team obviously doesn't trust Murray's body to hold up, and with the cap situation, I find it hard to believe that they make a serious play to resign him. You're going to be looking for a new lead RB sometime soon anyway, why not let him learn to pass protect your $100 million QB for a year before throwing him into a featured role?

RBs are fairly easy to get anymore. Late in the draft 5th rd or so you can get good ones. Agree we need a very capable #2 since Murray gets injured.

Rather wait a year and go for either Duke Johnson, Gurley, or Yeldon.

Agree 100% with this post... Let's see what Randle can do with a year under its belt and If Dunbar can come back healthy next year as well. Probably let Tanner go and see if we can strike gold with his current spot..

Murray has done good things this year. He's shown he can carry the load when health, IF the coaches have the brains to actually use him. However, he has a history of being injured a lot, and he did have a costly fumble in our most important game of the year, one that probably cost us the game.

Randle's shown a few flashes, but not much else. Tanner's a scrub. Dunbar's a fast change of pace guy; I like him a lot, but he's not your workhorse.

Isn't Murray coming to the end of his contract? I think we should seriously consider drafting a running back, not in the early rounds, but around the 3rd or the 4th.

It's going to be a difficult decision with Murray being a free agent after the 2014 season.

I would be great if they had other options and didn't have to give him a big contract. He's only 25, but is not a great bet to stay healthy.
