See any differences there?
Hmmm, interesting.
Perhaps our decline over the last 6 weeks was more than a product of playing better teams (4 playoff teams, Chiefs (10-6) and the Rams) and the insertion of an additional turnstile at tackle (Tucker to go with Pettiti). Perhaps...
I don't see what this has to do with how Miami closed. Is the point that some teams finished stronger? Or is Miami supposed to be some kind of embarrassment?
It seems like a knee-jerk attempt to 'prove' we significantly underachieved.
While I'm as disappointed as anyone that we didn't make the playoffs, and went absolutely flat vs Rams, I think the 'Cowboys have a major weakness' handwriting was clearly on the wall back in November. Our OL was simply not playoff caliber and that was painfully obvious to anyone with the objectivity to see it IMO. I held out hope like many of you that that group could somehow pull together in the latter weeks but I frankly did not expect it.
I'm not ticked that we didn't make the playoffs. I'm seriously disappointed in the OL talent that Parcells has procured thus far and will be even moreso if he doesn't get this unit significantly improved for 06.
But I think our late season collapse was more about good teams exploiting our obvious weaknesses than anything else.
