Read lot of articles detailing the time Thomas has spent studying Cowboys defensive film/Charger defensive film to get as good as he can as quickly as possible. He's already made a big impression on Bradie James, Bobby Carpenter & Tank Johnson. Last week our offense ran 2 fake reverses but Thomas didn't bite on either; later we ran the reverse & he tackled the player for a 2 yard loss.
But I want to know how he can help our offense, specifically Romo's game. Thomas certainly studied our offense before we played the Dolphins last year. Just think a 13 year astute defensive star like Thomas brings a prospective lacking at least since Dat retired.
Understand Romo just needs to continue to work hard cause much of his improvement will come as he gains more field experience. After all, that's why younger QBs grow so much in their first 3-5 years. Also realize the coaching staff is doing everything possible to groom Romo to become a SB winning QB as quickly as possible. Romo's great play for most of the season is a testament to him, to the coaching staff & to our other great offensive players. Just hoping the coaching staff takes advantage of every avenue to improve our play on both sides of the ball.
