Ware & Hatcher

Hatcher was going to whoever was going to back up an armored truck to his house. I like the guy, but he wasn't staying for cheap.

I still miss Ware. He's a good dude.

this is how I feel, I'm glad Hatcher got paid, he deserved it, but I'm glad it wasn't here. But we would be a better team with Ware.

ware got exposed yesterday, Andy Dalton and the Bengals were running the keep option and they were running it directly at him his agility is horrible

Flashback to a one legged rg3 juking a one armed ware

I wish Hatcher and Ware were hear on a personal level but I understand why they couldn't be. I'm not going to gloat about it though. Both did well for themselves. Hatcher got a great contract from the Deadskins and Ware revived his career.

Now two players I will gloat about is Kyle Orton and Jeremiah Ratliff. ESPECIALLY JEREMIAH. So glad we got both of those out of our locker room.

Ware there during his last year's in Dallas was good at getting sacks when it didn't matter and disappear for the entire game. Mind boggling how many passes that guy got from our fans...

Right on everyone and I completely agree. I don't see where a guy with 10 sacks and a first ballot Hall of Famer could possibly help our defense.

Ware's one of the true Cowboys. I'd love to have him back for our stretch run, in whatever late-season capacity.

Hatcher, on the other hand, left Dallas to go to a division rival to play out of position for more money. He deserves whatever frustration his offseason brings him. Though I don't imagine it's much. That big contract is a pretty effective aspirin for missing one postseason run.

Ware is playing well because he is used sparingly and at OLB. He never transitioned well to DE at Dallas.

Good for him.

He's still be the best pass rusher on this team, as he always was when healthy.

I didn't like giving him up, but understand the reasoning behind it. That doesn't mean we should downplay his skills. We can only hope that our new DeMarcus comes to be anywhere near the player our old DeMarcus is.

Feel the same way. I'm happy with the way things have turned out with Hatcher. Would have loved to have had Ware finish his career here, especially if we do get to the Super Bowl, because he deserves that.

Cowboys should take him to court for breach of contract. That guy pretended that he was injured and made it seem like his career was over. Then when he got the chance all of a sudden he became healthy again.

As for Kyle Orton, I think we should have enforced the contractual agreement on him and made him stay here to fulfill it. This was mess up with the FO that let players like Kyle and Ratliff push them around and take advantage of Jerry's generosity of wanting to pay players more than what their due.

Jerry or Stephen made a comment that makes me think that if they were pursuing legal action against Ratliff, that it is something that they would not comment on until after it is resolved. They definitely didn't say they wouldn't pursue it.

I was watching the game last night and thinking how frustrating it would be for ware if the Cowboys win Super Bowl this year.

Don't think Denver is getting in.

Like Nomar Garciaparra.

Broncos - broken leg. Needs to be shot.

Ware needed a change of scenery. He needed another dominate rusher to take the double teams off of him. He's past his prime and his ability to overcome chips and double teams play after play. Broncos are the perfect team for him. He would not have had as much success here as he has had in Denver. We made the right decision on both players. If Ware was still here, people would be complaining about the same stuff about him disappearing in games.

Haven't seen an udpate since then, but here you go.

Cowboys sue player for ‘exaggerating injury’
ORLANDO, Fla. — The Dallas Cowboys have filed a complaint against Jay Ratliff and are seeking compensation from the defensive lineman.

Ratliff was sidelined last season while recovering from a sports hernia that required surgery. He was placed on the physically unable to perform list, but when he told the Cowboys he was not physically able to play, they released him in October.

A week later, Ratliff’s surgeon medically cleared him to play and he signed with the Bears, playing five games for them.

The collective bargaining agreement does not cover such disputes, so the Cowboys have brought their complaint to the NFL’s management council and the players’ union.

Would Ware start for us and be our best pass rusher? Yes, but he would be dinged and not nearly as good for us as for Denver.

In Dallas, Ware would play 4-3 DE, draw lots of attention, have a few sacks, and give up some big runs because of his speed move outside and around.

In Denver, he plays 3-4 OLB, the position he was born to play, and the reason he was drafted, play opposite Von Miller, and stay healthier.

Ware plays DE in denver.

Wolfe is the other DE, Knighton and Sly Williams are the DTs. Von Miller is the SLB.

Ware has good pieces around him.

I wish him the best and I had a hunch he would have better numbers in Denver. It's time to move on.

Newman got Benched last night....What I saw from him, was the same crap I saw from him in his time here. Dude almost cost Cincy the game.
