Ware hit on Matt Ryan

Ware made his play for the game, and somehow (wasn't it Brent) we cannot come up with the ball, just sorta collapses and comes up short - how bout dem Cowboys!

How about it ? Haha

pretty easy to hit a quarterback when nobody blocks you and the end result was....Atlanta recovered the fumble and then made a first down...empty sack for Ware

Who cares, we had a shot to get the ball and as usual, couldn't come up with it.

We really suck at recovering fumbles, you can almost guarantee that if we generate a fumble we will not recover it.

That fumble was kind of a luck of the draw thing, you knew when the ball left we wouldn't get it from the way the ball was traveling.

Ware's job is not to recover the fumble... It's to knock the ball loose and hope your team can pounce on it.

That to me, was our season in a nutshell.

A great play by Ware. And the ball doesn't bounce our way.

I agree. And they even gained yards on the play to boot. This team is snakebitten.:bang2:

I watched the play because I was incensed that we didn't come away with a turnover.

But, that was a bit of bad luck on our part as I watched the replay. The ball was spinning as it went out of Ryan's hand and it spun right past Brent. Had it just bounced like a ball normally would, I think he recovers easily. Just a case of a bad break for Brent.

although I found it disconcerting that on the very next play Ryan was still in the game while Ware was on the sidelines.

Any player can sack the quarterback unblocked.

And Ware is the one that got dinged on the play and had to come out of the game for a few plays.

Where did I write it was up to wear to recover it? In the end, the Falcons might have gained some ground on that play.

Ware also had another key sack later in the game. Brent kind of piggybacked on it. But that was all Ware.

Butler's sack was also unblocked but no fumble. The Ware hate is unbelievable.

More typical of the current season:

Big hit and fumble no recovery and then although possible Ryan is a little shaken up, we can't get ourselves lined up properly, take a time out, let Ryan get his head together and make a first down.

Ware was fine-not a game changer, but fine last night. Real problem with this defense is there is NO ONE else who can consistently rush the passer.

Cliff Avril-come on down!!!

That's stupid.

Ware has 4 Forced Fumbles now on sacks, if I'm not mistaken. Only one of those has been recovered by us.

But then, the one recovered by us was squandered by the offense anyway as Romo handed the ball off to the Bears for a defensive TD.
