Ware is playing well tonight

One of my all time favorite Dallas Cowboys, sad to see him in that Broncos uniform although I understand the business decision.

Did he get more sacks than Bruce Carter tonight?

I didn't see him do much in the game, but was getting chipped by backs and receivers. Thought I saw the trainers already working on him a few times. I saw nothing to make me think he is going to be a dominant force, but apparently I missed his whole sack only saw the 1/2 sack

Ware will be out by the mid point of the season. Best of luck to a great guy.

He played well early last year as well. The ? Is can he sustain it for a full season.

Exactly. Great guy and Hall of Fame player. But last year he had 4 sacks in the first three games, then 2 for the rest of the season. Love the player, but the question is whether he can hold up.

I noticed he was being sub by (#93?) more often than he was subbed when he was here. He'll do better since he doesn't have to be the only guy that offenses will focus on and the fact that Denver will have a big lead most of the time.

I hardly noticed him today besides that one sack. Meh.

There are 15 games left. Chances are he does not play in all those 15. And like others mentioned, he is around a real team now.

Yes but were they "meaningful" sacks? :D

From profootballtalk.com

1. It seems strange to say, but the addition of DeMarcus Ware is almost easy to overlook for the Broncos.

His third-and-goal sack in the third quarter took the air out of the Colts, making them settle for a field goal.

He's an average player at best this year. They were blocking him one on one a majority of the snaps and all he did was speed rush and get pushed outside. Offenses no longer have to worry about him scheme wise. He got his 1.5 sacks but was hardly a force in the game. This won't be popular around here, but I always felt he was overrated. Great guy and good player for his career in Big D, but I never really bought into the hype.

Cumart21 I agree with you. I am glad someone else felt this way.

I felt he was like a Derrick Thomas, where one game would be huge, getting a butt-load of sacks and then for stretches he'd simply be handled one-on-one, especially the last few years of his career.
