I thought the opposite. Almost none of the Rams runs were Left. They attacked the gut and ran to their right side.

Unbelievable. I can't believe people are complaining about Ware. A guy who had four sacks yesterday. When have sacks ever cost a team?

This is what I HATE about losses-everyone, including myself, will come up with all kinds of BS theories over why even our BEST players are vastly overrated, weak, etc, etc.

good god, of all the players to point fingers at, Ware would be my absolutely last person to do that to along with Witten.

i noticed teams are running right at ware now. why? because im starting to think the guy is sack first mentality.

prime example was that long jackson td run. ware left a gaping lane open for jackson and the rams exposed it by running right to it. its like they knew what ware was gonna do. ware left zach totally exposed on that play.

sacks are good but at what point do u start to think is this guy wanting the individual stats now? thats why i was never concerned with passed cowboy teams without the big sack numbers. because u knew hey had designed to be that way. stop the run first. dallas is gona start playing teams who focus on the run. and if they(ware) start worrying about how mny sacks they have this team is gonna be ran over every game.

the secondary was decent today, but the run defence was the worst i seen in a few yrs. the rams OL looked lik all-universe. and they're horrible.

dallas is getting beat in the trenches and that needs to stop right ***'n now. or this team is gonna lose double digit games this yr. u can bet on that.

Your premise is waaaay off base dude. I mean way out in foul territory.

This is silly. The guy makes loads of tackles for a loss or stuffs, as I've heard them called, and is one of two or three guys who seems to play 110% from start to finish, regardless of situation, and now he's hurting us?

Please.

It does get old. I guess it is the nature of message boards and folks that frequent them..

People are trapped in this "I have to be the first to say something, so on the odd chance it happens, I can go back and say I TOLD YOU SO" syndrome. It's like if you throw enough poo at the wall, some is going to stick. If people spew enough conspiracy theories and the like out then eventualy someone is going to get enough dumb luck to be right once, then they can go dig up the thread and say "see, I are teh smartest dood eva! I told you so!!".

Wow, this thread is The Ranch worthy. Ware is probably the best run defender we have. I didn't see Jackson bust his long runs to his side of the defense. He went to Greg Ellis' territory....

sadly it was to ware's side. really an atypical play. don't think i've ever seen him take the inside on a run like that. very strange. because ware basically stacked behind spears. looked like a stunt. but ware quickly realized it was a run and tried to circle back.

i really think they told ware to pass rush first, defend the run second. thinking they needed to help the secondary. he looked like dwight freeney. no surprise he got 3-4 sacks.

most of those run plays you can see bradie james not taking the correct angle. however on the endzone plays, it's consistently been anthony henry failing to fill his hole. he never sticks his helmet into the play. maybe he's supposed to be the coverage guy, but when you see the rb get the ball, you gotta run up.

yeah it kinda helps to practice that stuff :bang2:
I've been counting how many players bounce off a returner on kick offs and punts. Usully it's 3-5 hits before the player goes down. No wrapping up. No fundamentals.

That long run by Jackson was the result of an unbalanced line. Bulger said in the post game that he could tell the defense was not paying attention so he called for an unbalanced line in their huddle and a quick count. They snapped the ball before the defense could adjust.

BTW an unbalanced line means both the LT and RT on the same side
