LT mainly rushed the QB. He barely played snaps anywhere but DE. He didn't have LBer responsibilities. He was a freak of nature at that specific position.

The LT - Parsons comparisons were silly from the start. They continue to get sillier.
LT had 4 interceptions in his first 3 seasons, Parsons has 4. Parsons rarely drops back in coverage.LT was more of a complete LB than Parsons is

Ware is a top 5 all time edge rusher. There is no comparison to be made.

However, I will say they both suffered mightily from poor D construction around them. Jerry has screwed them both.
Yeah Parsons gets so many accolades because he starts off each season blistering. By the last 6 games or so he's all but disappeared. We've seen this pattern over and over now. All I can figure is he's worn down from being under sized.

If we managed to get his same early season performances late in the year and post season we'd be a different defense.

Pretending that a single defensive end can make up for the incompetence of 10 other players on the field is dumb.

Micah and Ware didn't necessarily play their best football in the playoffs, but the team surrounding them definitely has something to do with that.

I think we all saw that as soon as Ware got out of Dallas, he became a playoff stud. Here in Denver he is a folk hero of their 2010s Superbowl teams. This organization just does not build great defenses.

This whole "choke artist" labeling game is so stupid, especially with defensive linemen.
In the playoffs team double and triple team these guys and our other guys aren’t good enough to make them pay for it. How many B players have left in 30 years because money and won somewhere else. There are quite a few.

We spend too much money on stars and bad contracts for high risk reward players so there isn’t enough money to fill the roster with solid guys. We might be world beaters early, but as guys leave the field for injury or behavior we’ve got nobody behind them.

No clue what you're trying to say. Parsons doesn't have any INTs.

It’s like this fan base has to downplay one player to provide props to another. Like it’s a zero sum game.

Then again, no one has ever accused the Cowboys of having an intelligent fan base. Widely acknowledged across the league as one of the dumbest…

I'd compare Ware and Lawrence before I would compare Ware and Parsons. Ware never got the attention from offenses that Parsons gets.

And when Ware left a lot of people in Cowboys forums were saying Ware only got sacks when it didn't matter.

I don’t think there’s a comparison. Ware is in the hall of fame and faced left tackles (the best lineman typically) all career. He was a very good run defender and elite pass rusher. I get it if one hasn’t seen Ware play and can only look at stats but he was formidable in short and long yardage, pass or run.

Micah is fast as crap and the fastest I’ve seen maybe other than Derrick Thomas or Freeney. However, he is a target in the run game which happens to be this team’s biggest defensive weakness.
