I did see on the crawl this morning that Ware said he feels stronger and faster than ever. How will you feel if Ware gets between 15-20 sacks this yr?

I wish the best for him. Whatever he does, I don't care as long as he's not playing us.

I hope he gets 20 including the late fourth quarter sack that seals the SB victory.

(unless by some miracle it's against the Cowboys of course)

His sack total will probably be higher simply due to the fact that teams will be throwing a lot more against Denver because of how many points that offense is going to put up.

having Von Miller on the other side means they cannot load up against him. Outside of the couple of years he had ellis on the other side Deware was always the only real sack threat we had; no one else took the pressure off of him the last 5 years or so. So I would not be surprised at all if he got near 20.

Hope he sets the sack record. Wish him nothing but the best.

Dont really care. He's no longer wearing a Blue Star. Its all irrelevant to me.

However, if he has a great year Im sure there will be plenty of entertaining posts from the usual crowd.

You're right. If he has a huge year in Denver it's completely irrelevant to the Cowboys' decision to release him.

What you have here is a homer already preparing for the worst.

I don't. I want my team to be right in their decisions and DeMarcus Ware having great success in Denver doesn't help the Dallas Cowboys whatsoever.

That's the problem with you boys. You player worship and forget why you started liking the player in the first place.

Team before player. Always. I don't care who it is.

Nonsense. Demarcus having a great year in Denver in no way hurts the Cowboys. Different year, different defense, different teammates, different competition.

I'm almost always team before player myself, but when it's not a zero sum game, I like to see good guys prosper.

Similarly, I like to see bad ones fail, so I hope Rat's year in CHI is dismal.

Sure it hurts the Cowboys. It means they let go of a still great player. They made a bad personnel decision because an elite pass rusher is worth whatever you can give him.

There are no good ones or bad ones to me. There are only ex-ones and if you don't play for the Dallas Cowboys, if you suit up to help another team compete against the Cowboys, I hope you fail. It's really that simple.

Rip the poster off the wall and quit with the player worship. It's sickening, to be honest.

Sickening? Chill out.

More nonsense. The decision to release Ware impacts more than this year, for one thing. For another, even if he plays well in Denver, it's zero guarantee that he'd have done the same in Dallas. The situations are very different.

I'd say it's perfectly ok for you to tape those posters back up. You can tape up the tears from your earlier tantrum and they'll be good as knew. Just like Demarcus' surgically repaired shoulder! Go Cowboys!

Ah, the well....he might not have been good here defense.

Nonsense. If he balls in Denver it will show that he's not done, he's still the same DeMarcus Ware and the Cowboys let go of an elite edge rusher. It would prove to be a bad decision.

What I want, since I'm a Cowboys fan and don't give two bleeps for any player competing against them, is for the Cowboys to be proven right. DeMarcus Ware was damaged goods. The Cowboys cut the cord at the right time. This can only happen with failure for Ware in Denver. So that's what I'm hoping for.

Whether he's one of the "good ones" or not. As pathetic as that is.

That's fine. A bit juvenile and not at all relevant to the 2014 Cowboys, but fine.

As I said, I expect and hope he continues to play at a high level. That can happen alongside it being the right decision for the Cowboys to have gone in the direction they went, so I hope that's the way it turns out.

If it turns out he's not just a relatively poor value from here on out, but also happens to be actually done as a good player in this league, I'll be ok with that, too.

No homer here preparing for the worst. He's not one of us anymore so what he does is irrelevant.

However, IF he does well, I already know there will plenty of posts here providing entertainment.
