One good or even gt season by Ware doesn't hurt Dallas. If he strings together three very good years, then that would reflect poorly on the Cowboys. It means he would have played up to his contract in Denver. If Dallas could have kept Ware for a single season they would have done so, but he was looking for more years on his contract.

Could care less what a "fan" like you thinks about it ...... I will always be a fan of Ware and wish him all the best.

yeah. I can be a fan of the player and the team at the same time. I guess that concept is too complicated for Risen.

Boo hoo...someone doesn't like that people can still like a player rather they play for Dallas or not.

Get over it and get over yourself. You don't play for the Dallas Cowboys so you have no need, or reason, to not like a player anymore because they don't play for Dallas.

If I like a player I like them regardless where they play. Just like when I don't like a player, like Owens, I don't like them even if they play for Dallas. I'll hope they play well for the Cowboys but I won't like them or pretend that I do just because they wear The Star.

I hope he gets 20 including the late fourth quarter sack that seals the SB victory.

(unless by some miracle it's against the Cowboys of course)

The only chance Ware and Peyton have to win a Superbowl is to be playing the cowboys lol

Any other team will thrash Peyton.

Sure it hurts the Cowboys. It means they let go of a still great player. They made a bad personnel decision because an elite pass rusher is worth whatever you can give him.

There are no good ones or bad ones to me. There are only ex-ones and if you don't play for the Dallas Cowboys, if you suit up to help another team compete against the Cowboys, I hope you fail. It's really that simple.

Rip the poster off the wall and quit with the player worship. It's sickening, to be honest.

cutting a player a year too early instead of a year too late is still a good decision

It has definitely worked very well for the Patriots.

really? How many trophies have they won since they started dropping vets like they have. Seymour, etc were all let go after their last win. None since then. They come close but can never seal the deal. MAYBE if they had kept one or two of those they happily let go it might be different.
Dropping welker for Amendola worked so well for them, didn't it?

As I recall they made the AFC Championship game against Denver after going 12-4. So I'm guessing dropping Welker for Danny didn't hurt them at all. BTW how many Superbowls did Welker help them win? I know he was there to help lose 2 and now a 3rd with Denver.

They haven't won the Superbowl but they've competed for the playoffs and been in the hunt year after year after year after year so, yeah, it hasn't hurt them. They stay in contention while other teams, who hold onto aging vets, continue to wonder how they could get to the playoffs consistently.

I've never liked Denver well at least not since they let go of Dan Reeves. I rooted against them last year in the SB. If they get there this year and we're not there, I'll probably root for them just because of Ware.

It would make me further the strength and conditioning of our players. I really am curious how Austin and Ware do outside of Dallas. Newman had a pretty healthy season from what I noticed of him.

NO more trophies. Bottom line with the PATS now is more trophies and they have failed every year since 2004. So you can make all the excuses you want to.

maybe because the Pats got WIPED by the Broncos.......

do you live in the real world at all?

1. A depleted Pats team. The Pats own him.
2. Anyways I was CLEARLY referring to superbowl opponent. This is evident when I used NFC team.

And no, I live in the alternate "red" universe, thank you! (For asking)

lol! Calm down. You're getting all upset.

It's not my fault that you tried to use the loss of Welker as some sort of standard and it blew up in your face. His loss did exactly nothing to the Pats.

The Seymour loss has done exactly nothing to the Pats.

They're still in the hunt, year after year after year. You can thump your chest till you're blue in the face about how they haven't gotten another trophy but they're in the hunt for them. They've got real shots to win them.

Unlike the Cowboys and tons of other teams. So, yeah, the Pats system works. You can hate it till you feel better but their system works.

I'll take the success they've been having since 1996 over what the Cowboys have been doing each and every time.

I don't. I want my team to be right in their decisions and DeMarcus Ware having great success in Denver doesn't help the Dallas Cowboys whatsoever.

That's the problem with you boys. You player worship and forget why you started liking the player in the first place.

Team before player. Always. I don't care who it is.

Well they weren't right in their decision because it wasn't entirely a move of choice. They tried to bring him back lower so they don't think he's just done all together.

Pretty sure everyone wants the team to always make the right call but that doesn't happen. Not in this case and there's no reason to root for the guy to fail because the team mishandled things.
