I know everybody hates him, but he seems like a good guy who really wants to be a big part of Cowboys lore. This is his dream "job" and it has turned into a nightmare. I agree with you. He's a great "guy", but right now he is not helping the team. And right now is when he is needed most.

Crayton is better than RW and that has been true the last 3 years. What RW did 4 years ago isn't of much consequence to me at this point in time.

He is almost useless as a WR as far as I can tell right now. He can't get off the line. He can't generate separation. He can't make catches in traffic. He drops the ball when he is wide open.

If he were from anywhere but UT he would have been run out of town already and that's the truth.

I see what you're saying, but I think Ogletree can be better than Crayton. Given opportunity, Miles made an impact. In his limited opportunities, Ogletree has shown those flashes that look like he could be the same type of impact player.

We need to find a #2 reciever. Teams know we aren't throwing to Roy. He only catches it 45% of the time as Buck and Aikman showed today. Just because he makes a lot of money doesn't mean he can't be benched or even better, cut.

I think it's a situation where they just started giving Crayton and Kevin more plays in the second half because they would make plays where Roy was doing nothing. The only pass thrown his way today was an incompletion when him and Romo clearly weren't on the same page.

What makes you say that? If Austin is overthrown by that much, he isn't going to catch it, no receiver is, they don't make them that tall.

Btw, on that play, both Crayton and Williams were on the sideline and it was Austin/Ogletree in the game, and it should have worked.

That's the thing - teams know we are throwing it to Miles Austin and he still abuses them in double and triple coverage. I love it.

I have to concur with exactly what you said.

I do think that is exactly what happened today (benching RW for Crayton) and IMO rightfully so. Roy can get in the mix like Crayton/Hurd did before but as of right now Crayton is a much better route runner and has better hands and I think he gives us a much better chance at winning than Roy does.
