Was Diggs Told To Avoid Contact Or What?

I would still love to know what in the world changed with Diggs late this year. I know he was never a very enthusiastic tackler, neither was NEON DEION - but he wanted no part of any physical contact at the end of this season. Was he told to avoid getting injured at all costs considering the shape we were in with CBs. After losing Brown and Lewis, and finding out Joseph sucked, did the team tell him to no matter what make sure he didn't get injured. That would at least make it make some sense because if he did go down wed have been in a huge mess at CB. Just wondering, still can't understand it.

I get some CB are a little light with tackling, but Diggs avoided hits when we needed them. We've seen him make the tackles. But we were very thin at CB. I was always taught to play 100% because when you try to not get hurt, you can get hurt.

It was actually downright embarrassing watching him try to tackle...how many INT's did he even get? It was actually depressing watching him, almost like Bossman and him switched bodies

Complaining about Diggs. This is just another ridiculous thread. Diggs did his job quite well. He did his job better than overpaid Elliot and Prescott and Moore. We are not in the Super Bowl because we overpaid for those duds...I just wish MM was given the boot.

first off NO way you can comp them.. KJ likes to contact, hes overzealous and gets penalized for it but cant cover as well.. gets beat far more often, KJ a STs player he is all about contact, while diggs avoided contact seemingly wasnt concentrating as much was also covering his guy much better, he did seems to be thinking of not getting hurt was more of priority, contract or because how thin they were at CB..
