Mann12 interceptions and then the crows just turned on him in a hurry .

We can’t nail the cb position. Terrence Newman had like a decade of success after leaving us

I would still love to know what in the world changed with Diggs late this year. I know he was never a very enthusiastic tackler, neither was NEON DEION - but he wanted no part of any physical contact at the end of this season. Was he told to avoid getting injured at all costs considering the shape we were in with CBs. After losing Brown and Lewis, and finding out Joseph sucked, did the team tell him to no matter what make sure he didn't get injured. That would at least make it make some sense because if he did go down wed have been in a huge mess at CB. Just wondering, still can't understand it.
Diggs brought back the "Fetal Position" tackle and it didn't play well for him. When the interceptions dried up so did his tackling abilities too.

IMO, his actions were a pay me or trade me business decision. I've seen him make tackles before. He wants an extension.

Players have different ways of getting this point across, and Diggs quite possibly found the worse way.

Its possible.

I get that Diggs is not paid to tackle and he is still one of the best CBs in the league, but his effort in that SF game was just embarrassing, literally dove out of the way to keep from hitting Kittle.

He needs to be better next year, especially if he is wanting to "get his bag".

Diggs play was greatly responsible for losing us that playoff game.

I really don't see how in a playoff game you could be told not to initiate contact what would be the purpose of this so you could sit home on the couch in pristine health and watch someone else playing a super bowl.

He failed us twice in that drive against the 49ers and if it was the last thing I did I would make sure he didn't get paid and send him packing.

Money will not change the spots on that leopard he will punk out in another big moment and leave us hanging after we pay him a king's ransom get rid of him now before we suffer the consequences

He didn't lose that game himself, had plenty of help. I agree, hope they don't give him that big contract. Hope Jerry isn't blinded by that year he had all the picks and gives it to him. If only he just threw his body into Kittle, he'd never brought that catch in.
Id love to know what the others like D- Law and Parsons, Kearse playing very injured, etc thought about his being a panzee out there while they were all giving it their all and busting their butts. How could Diggs seriously look any one of his defense teammates in the eyes after they played so hard and he loafed? You'd think they would have all been up in his face or upside his face after that.

Remember when we had corners that shut down WRs and were great at tackling but this board didn’t like them because they didn’t get turnovers?

If you want a corner who is a ballhawk you may lose something somewhere else.
The problem is that he wasn't even a ball hawk. Missed a pick in his hands which would have prevented the 49ers only TD. If he's not making those plays, can't tackle, and still gets caught by the occasional double move, is he really worth top 3 CB money? I still love Diggs, but if Quinn can't reach him this offseason I wouldn't mind a trade while he has value.

The hate on Chido on this very board was beyond unreasonable. He was a good CB

That is because too many on this board expect every player drafted to be all universe. They expect every play to be made by a Dallas player, and they expect that play to be the most optimum version of the play, if he is there for a PBU it should have been a INT, if he returned an INT 40 yeards he should returned it to the house.

His "FETUS STYLE" tackle against the 9er TE Kittle was just one example why the Boys lost to the 9ers. Had Diggs come in a laid some hat on Kittle there is no way he comes down with the circus catch. Even the way Diggs played receivers was questionable, he was leaving them too much space to make drive making catches. If you look at 2021 and 2022 Diggs game film, they're like night and day. Diggs was a shell of himself this year and if we get the same 2022 Diggs in 2023, then he needs to be traded because he's not worth the bank he thinks he worth.

Complaining about Diggs. This is just another ridiculous thread. Diggs did his job quite well. He did his job better than overpaid Elliot and Prescott and Moore. We are not in the Super Bowl because we overpaid for those duds...I just wish MM was given the boot.
Exactly. Prescott and Elliot did worse and are highly paid

Yeah, he's made these tackles earlier in the season, but gets shy in the playoffs, on 3rd and 7? The dropped INT was also a game changer.

This OP is proof positive that many Cowboys fans are complete buffoons

How anyone can believe in this crap is beyond me

Diggs is tissue paper
Cannot tackle
Does not want to tackle
Is all about the money

I hope like heck we don’t pay him
Correction, all-seer, Is all about the money and INTs.

My favorite thing about Diggs right now is his kid.

Dak walks in….

“Are you Patrick Mahomes?”

Correct response: “no, not even remotely close.”
It's like a stab to the gut, mentioning our confused QB and Mahomes in the same post.
Diddle waddle tha!
