It's all hindsight, but I think when you're playing a team with a questionable slot CB, Cole Beasley starts to look like a fairly reasonable option. And they obviously played Hanna more this game because they anticipated needing the extra blocking and he gives you more than Escobar does in that area.
This was a team with some huge questions in their secondary. I was really, really surprised by how well they handled our wide outs, even given the pressure last night. It's not something I'd have bet on their ability to do going into this game, and I think it's one of the most surprising factors in the loss. That and repeatedly putting the ball on the ground in the running game. That absolutely killed us.

I can see them going with Beasely to start but it wasn't working through out the game. They needed to make an adjustment.

Escobar is the better option against the blitzing defense. We can equally run and pass with him in the offense.

Used Escobar pretty effectively against the Giants, I thought. Perhaps we should start playing with two balls on offense each series. That way we don't have to hear about how we don't run it enough, or get Dez or Terrence, or Witten enough touches if we get Escobar, Dunbar, and Harris the ball in a game we end up losing.

Straw man there. We don't have to feature these guys, just get them involved somehow, especially when the game situation calls for utilizing their strengths.

Beasley is a little too small to be effective. Dallas should use those 2 TE sets like they did against Hawks.

I have yet to see him make a contested catch. If you put a body on him, you might as well not look in his direction. Nothing good is happening for him unless he's wide open.

I not a real big No 11 guy. When a wideout is smaller than me in NFL you gonna have issues.
