Was it Dak, or was it really Kellen Moore?

I saw a few bad throws, that were behind the WR's but they did a good job adjusting, tighter coverage and we could of seen picks.

Dak had a good, not great game, I'll give him that.

Now was it a product of Kellen Moore? WR's were open and some of the passes were easy. But he made them. I'd give it another 2 weeks before going Dak crazy. Jerry, don't rush to sign him.

Both Dak and Moore. I watch a lot of games and believe me no QB is making perfect throws every single time. Fact is Dak made the reads and got it out quickly to the open man.

Dak had a great game. Yes, there were throws that could have been better, but there were also throws that he made that took absolute precision. Nothing Moore did should take away from Dak's performance. If anything, it just shows what Dak is capable of with competent play-calling instead of him (and Romo as well) having to overcome predictable play-calling for years.

Dak has a perfect rating and threw for 405 yards....play calling helps but not that much...dak is very good and yesterday showed he can do it in a huge way
Play calling helps a lot, but that doesn't take away from Dak's excellent execution. He was making beautiful throws, and I suspect that even a couple that looked like they were thrown a little off target were thrown where they were to protect the ball and the receiver.

405 yards, 4 TD's and a perfect QB rating is a great game by any reasonable standard. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

That said, of course Moore had something to do with it. His play designs and play calling helped provide the opportunities for Dak to take advantage of.

The reality is it was a combined effort with Moore, Dak, the O-Line and the receivers.

I did see one pass get thrown behind Cobb while he was going over the middle and he made a superman move to grab it. Then I became a Cobb fan. Otherwise, Dak made a couple of throws that missed the mark but all QBs do that. Overall he was vastly improved with his accuracy from last season.

I think Dak and Kellen were both responsible for the offensive improvement. And having the O-line back together is also nice.

If it where all Kellen he would be in uniform playing instead of calling the plays. Kellen is a smart guy and can do a lot to help Dak but Dak has to read the defense and has to adjust based on what he is seeing pre snap. Yesterday there were several times that Dak would make that pre snap read and make the adjustments.

Dak was the first Dallas quarterback to ever have a perfect QB rating. How can you say he didn’t play great with a straight face? It literally was a record breaking performance.

Dak had a great game but he wasn't the first, or second to have a perfect rating. Don Meredith was the first. Craig Morton was the second. (Morton did it a second time with the Broncs.)

In case you're wondering: Ben Roethlisberger and Peyton Manning have four; Kurt Warner has three; and Craig Morton, Dave Krieg, Ken O'Brien, and Tom Brady have two.

astutely said. one of the "thrown behind the wr" passes was to protect him from an oncoming defender. jarwin, I think. but not thrown so far behind that jarwin couldn't catch it. that's seeing things very clearly from a qb point of view.
