The one thing I've always found lacking in his game is the quick recognize and release into tight areas. The WR's were running wild in the secondary so a defenses that can actually cover people may present a problem. We shall see if he's the 40 million Dollar Man.

Dak made several excellent throws into traffic, a few of them quick slants over the middle.

Oh, and Cooper and Gallup weren’t “running wild” when they had barely a half step on their defenders down the sidelines, but nice try at stripping credit from Dak anyways! Those plays required a QB dropping absolute DIMES, and Dak delivered.

I am so, SO sorry, but Dak’s worth every penny that he’ll soon make.

Both.. Kellen called plays that got guys wide open and Dak dropped the passes into them.

It was a near perfect game on both ends.

I’m not as hype as the Dak Stans but yesterday was good for both qb and OC. I do agree we need to see how it holds up over the long haul but was a good start.

Tom Brady is a system QB and nobody ever discredits him even though every QB they trot out there does well.

I've heard this before, but he's had numerous offensive coordinators and they've run different schemes throughout the years.

Giants have a bad pass defense. It was nice to not be able to predict every play though. Dak had a good game. A few bad throws...into the ground, short, behind receiver that was helped by a bad pass defense and his receivers.

I’ve pretty much maintained his accuracy issues generally have to with his bad anticipation, and it becomes evident when he needs to go through his reads and progressions. He traditionally marches the ball down-field in the first scripted drive, which is practiced before the game.

Last game is not even a really good sample as far as what Dak’s main issues are. The best throw was the one to Gallup in reality, because it was his second read. But the rest of them were pretty much, he was going there from the beginning.

He ran the offense though beautifully last night.

Dak's performance was exceptional, but more creative and aggressive play-calling opened the door.

Kellen is going to have fun with this offense.

Was it Aikman I heard for a minute saying something like "good offensive coordinators know their quarterback's strengths then build the offense around those strengths"?

And that's what Moore did.

He tweaked the offense to the teams' strengths, to Dak's strengths.

Those routes Gallup was running were superb, same for his YAC.

You just have to have someone who understands what's really going on out there make adjustments, iron out wrinkles and put the thing together so it can be done consistently, which is what Moore has done throughout his career.

Kellen Moore is Mr. Consistency.

There is no such thing as a system QB. It's a media catchphrase without any football meaning.

The Patriots have used the same basic Erhardt-Perkins scheme since it was invented in the 1970s, and nobody gave a crap about it until Brady came along.

The 1970s Cowboys ran a different offense than the rest of the league with a bunch of innovations Landry came up with. Was Staubach a system QB?

People tried to say Montana was a system QB, but 100 QBs probably ran that system since then, and most of them were trash.
