No, I just can't believe it was women.

The increased brutality from one killing to the next, up until the Kelly murder doesn't scream "female killer" to me.

The last murder was just so brutal, I can't see a woman doing that. As like someone else mentioned the strength needed to do some of these murders doesn't point to a female in my mind either.

got news for you, Google vicious women killers and you would be quite surprised at what you find.

Interesting to hear someone in this day and age claim that women are still not capable of as evil as men.

there is a documentary that is shown periodically on one of the cable shows where they actually tested somehow to see if a woman did it. I am fuzzy on the details but I think they tested strength and how fast the women were slashed & they pretty much ruled it out being a woman. Some of the cuts were to the bone..horrific wounds..and almost to a man the "experts" who know the tinest details of the case agree it was a man. It has got to be the biggest "who done it" of all time. And as much as it sickens me to see those pictures I'm right there myself wondering who did do it! Walter Sickert? Patricia Cornwell is one smart cookie & she said he did it.

Lizzie Borden is another case..did she? I think in that case she did do it.

What pictures? The only pictures I can find are nothing but drawings by some artist...

Patricia Cornwell's book has pics of all the victims & most other Ripper books do too. The last one (Kelly I think) he had time with her. He totally gutted her..took out most of her organs. You can see her leg bones. I cannot believe the viciousness of that murder. He was one sick pup.

You bet.

But even the famous women serial killers that we know of weren't sadistic butchers... They used guns/knifes/poison... but butchering? No... not usually. And I would be even more doubtful of it being a woman in that era.

The often agreed upon last murder victim Mary Kelly was surgically torn apart, but maybe more importantly was put in a "sexual" position with her legs spread apart.

I will try to see ifI can find out the name of the show where they tested the woman Ripper theory. It was a total fail. I think Jack was really a Jack the Ripper.

I would be shocked if "Jack The Ripper" was "Jane The Ripper".

I haven't seen/heard/read anything that would lead me to believe any different.

Overwhelmingly experts on the Ripper murders agree a man carried out these murders. As I said previously tests were even done in the UK to see if a female could have done this. It's not really a sexist issue..just a sad fact that multiple women were brutually murdered & the killer was never found. That's the interest all this time later..WHO was the Ripper? And look at Lizzie Borden. Her parents were hacked to death & most agree she did it.

She also had the equivalent of the "dream team" of attorneys which helped her case. I think most experts or not can look at that case & say she probably got away with it.

I do believe that Lizzie's motive was the incest. It makes a lot of sense as to why she would kill them. She definitely snapped big time.

The Borden crime was awfu but don't compare to the butchery of the Ripper. There was nothing left of his last victim. And the others he disemboweled. Pratically cut their heads off when he cut their throat. Lizzie went nuts on the 2 people she hated most if you accept the incest theory. Lots would say an ax to the head is just punishment for years of raping his own daughter..
