Was T.O. worth the trouble last year?

Old saying in the UK...

You can tell the weather by looking at the hills in the distance... if you can see them, it's going to rain; if you can't it's raining!

I suppose HOF QB Troy Aikman has the uncanny ability - not only to throw a great deep ball - but to ensure that his receivers catch the ball with the game on the line as well.

Wow. He really was a great one.

I may be giving you too much credit, but surely you understand that the better the QB is, the better the opportunities are for the WR.

Every WR has dropped a pass at an inoppotune time in their career.

But a WR needs a good QB in order to showcase his abilities to the fullest.

I think most WR's, if they were honest when asked, would have loved to have played with the most accurate QB is NFL history.

I thought it was pretty clearly put out there (yep...just checked, it was) that we were talking about scenarios where Owens needed to be clutch, and catch passes that couldn't have been thrown any better, rather than fat-fingering them like some second-rate receiver. All the Troy Aikman's in the world couldn't have changed that.

Or maybe they would. I'm sure we could get more inventive for our excuses for TO, and why he dropped a few balls that could have made a huge difference in our season. I'm all ears.

Looks like it.

My only point was directed towards the comparison to MI.

I wasn't involved in the banter about dropped passes. That's gotten old.
