Yeah, I know between dropping passes and dropping pills, he was a pain. I didn't want him here, but I have to admit, these stats represent a pretty good season.

I for one say he was worth the trouble.

Not for a 9-7 season and an early playoff exit. Now if we had done something in the playoffs, maybe. But for all his antics, there was little payoff. I reserve the right to amend this after every season he's here.

Yes and No. I would say overall yes, but had he stepped up when games were on the line a few more times they could of won the division.

There was really no actual trouble.

Just annoyance.

Was he worth the money? Eh. A few well-timed catches and I'd say heck yeah.

As it is, he dropped 'em. And that made a huge negative difference in our season.

So meh...whatever. He's here, he's not queer, he doesn't drink beer. He's batting like .500 - which would be good in baseball...not so much now.

Simply put. He needs to show more.

Lets hope he catches more passes and gets more high percentage plays.

Irvin was the "playmaker".... TO needs to be a "difference maker"... he wasnt much of one last year... well not directly, but indirectly he was... he needs to have a more direct influence on the game. Catch the ball.

he was no trouble

you should have asked if TO was worth the trouble started on this board, that would have been more accurate

What "trouble" would that be? The "trouble" of breaking a finger and never missing a game? the "trouble" of him working out with the Undrafted Rookie FA's after practice? The "trouble" of putting up pro-bowl numbers (better than Boldin in nearly every stat)? Or was it the "trouble" he caused by being a guy Romo considers a good friend?

If you mean the "trouble" of dropping passes in big situations then, yeah I'll agree with you on that one, trust me I'm no Terrell Owens fan but you've gotta give the guy credit other then dropping passes he played great and atleast on the outside was a good teamate.

I think he means the trouble ESPN and other "news" outlets had to go to to manufacture stories about the trouble he was causing. In that case, it was worth the trouble, as ESPN had very good ratings last year.

He wasn't the trouble ESPN and all the sports reporters predicted he'd be, just like Parcells and Jerry never had the blow up everyone "knew" was eventually going to happen.

But I don't think he was worth his price tag. $10 million is a lot of dough for the pinky and the drops - bottomline: his production.

9-7 without him. 9-7 with him. No.
That's an illogical rationale.

The question should be: would we have been worse than 9-7 in 2006 without him?

I don't remember soliciting your opinion or approval. Answer the poll question if you'd like.
